So... how many times have you rewatched The Office? The writing, the jokes, and the mockumentary-style camerawork are on point! I just binged all 5 episodes, and I feel like I am witnessing the growth of someone who is destined to do great things. Truly amazing work 👏

Great job Annette! Really amazing how u managed to tie so many points together in just under 15 mins, from charity to migrant workers, to the "cheating" part to the dramatic kitchen scene, just when things couldnt get uglier it dramatically turned around to the sweetest ending. Great script writing skills there! Loved the ending message, that what makes us rich isnt the money we have but the quality of the relationships with have with those around us. Really enjoyed all your asian billionaire episodes so far! Great job and effort! In fact I dare say this really looks like a real hollywood/netflix kind of standard of movies! Keep it up Annette! cant wait to see more content from u in future!

An amazing series with perfectly fitting casts! i was absolutely drawn in right from the start, and it has become one of my fav yt series'. i love how you perfectly depicted the essence of a singaporean household in a western/modern rich asian settings. loving the parasite/CRA vibes and also how it was filmed in a comedic "the office" cinematography xD WE NEED MOREEEE!!
Loved the cut from news of pregnancy to the cake in the oven.

I have no doubt Annette is one of the most talented individuals of her generation. If anyone had any doubt previously, i'm certain they don't anymore. Not after this series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series! Great scripting for this last episode - I see what you did with the cake in the oven pun hahahaha. tying 2 seemingly separate plot lines into a coherent one. Noice. On par with a wongfu production.
Take your time to write a good season 2 if u are gonna write one - better a slow but great season 2 than a quick but sloppy one!
Always appreciate caregiver, they work so hard and their job not physically tiring but emotional too.
The cake in the oven line was such a chef’s kiss! The way you intertwined the parents’ and siblings’ scenes was genius! And I love the heartwarming note that marked the end of this series. (‘: This series really deserve more love and attention!!! Looking forward to a season 2 and/or other series from you!!

Im here supporting Annette after her awesome concert! Who is here too becuz of her concert? It's nice to remind people that money should not be everything. We should try not to be blinded by money. Happiness n mental wellness should be more impt than $. I would think having to work for smth you enjoy even at a lower pay rate is better than having to stick to a high paying job tat u hate. It's so sad knowing people still choose high paying job over wat they enjoy. Frens choosing to stay in an industry that takes their life away, all their time just to pay bills. I know at times we cant choose if there isnt the opp or opt. Naturally everyone is drawn to higher paying job. But i think it should be a good reminder that there is so much more things tat is more impt than $. So wat if u r rich but in a broken family? So wat if u finally got rich but realise u didnt have time for urself n ur fam? So wat if one finally have the $ but realise you a uncurable illness. It is impt to away take a step bck n think is this worth, wat else can be done. This is such a well done series ( just like the beef. Hahaha!). When one cant stop watching n awaits for the next ep (tats me!) it speaks something. Pls don't stop working on such awesome series no matter how much obstacles it takes to be there. You are such a talent that i have been screaming out to my frens! I think you deserve the attention and be known of your talent having more support in doing what u r good at! You are gold! I meant it truly. Tat reminds me of ur song. I just want to tell u how much i appreciate all your hardwork in creating contents in making ppl laugh and nice songs that feels under rated at the moment. Stay strong and keep fighting Annette! I have became so much more of a fan after your concert. I am still so glad to manage to grab a spot.

Simple brilliant, Annette. This episode wraps up the series beautifully, with its witty humour, and also heartwarming message to not lose sight of the most important things in life.
This episode touched on many areas in Singapore today - our attitude towards migrant workers, highlighting the importance of charities, teaching our children to be responsible, kids over relying on their helpers, trust in a family, the overemphasis on money for some etc.
I feel that these were all points that were introduced in the storytelling in a very subtle way in which the audience can relate to without finding it cringy. This would serve as a great textbook example of how to introduce key issues to the masses effectively. Really loving ur work Annette. We just have a rising film director in our midst!
And finally, the last line from Gurmit is pure gold “I know a lot of poor people who have lots of money. But I dare say I’m the richest man in Singapore” 👏

Besides the storyline and the script (there are some very meaningful, memorable lines - “we have money but money doesn’t have us”, “poor people with lots of money”), I really like the music at the end.

Love this series... actually you all should ride on this wave after this. Like make a spin off on how the Swees made their fortunes eg. Can make some investment videos on Starhill reit etc. Pros and cons. But this time instead of a mockumentary, it's serious stuff just using the same characters. Would be highly educational yet entertaining at the same time. At the same time can leverage on your new 80-100k plus viewers.
