When I was in high school I was in the drama team also but I got cast as a homeless woman. Yup, asleep on the floor from beginning to end of the play. I could've won an Oscar!

Your story about pranking your brother in high school...we would have been friends as teens for sure. My brother has a huge ego and I relish any opportunity to make him look silly and embarrass him. I once tricked him into going to a steakhouse for his birthday dinner, knowing full well he had no idea that the birthday special thing they did was make the birthday person sit on a sawhorse with a saddle on top while the entire restaurant shouts YEEHAW! He was furious. I was so proud of myself. His girlfriend thought it was HILARIOUS. I liked her. Too bad they didn't work out.

Hey, have you ever heard of the song, "I'm my own grandpa"? I thought maybe you could follow the story outlined by the lyrics and see what the resulting family tree looks in the sims. The lyrics are

Love your videos. I had not tried going to the high school with a nonstudent, or out of hours. So yeah, there is that question answered, you can do that. Always answering the questions that we had not even thought of. Keep up the great work.
My graduation in 97 from high school I stole the valid Victorian speech put in lyrics to living on a prayer. I switched music out too so we exited to Fly like a Eagle lol...I had so much fun graduating.

Your story about playing the crack addict part, that happened to me too in high school. It was for a Christmas play at my school's church. So there I was, a muslim boy, playing a drama part as a drug dealer in a Christmas drama play. Smoking a cig in front the church's altar as part of the play too. I know it's not my religion, but still, I've never felt I've done something so sacrilegious as bad as that one action in my life. One good thing about it though... I did get to smoke one full cig in front of my teachers and a lot of students' parents (not mine, I forbid mine from coming LOL), and they can't do anything about it. If anything, it was the teachers who asked me to do it as part as the character I played. At least I didn't play the character that my Christian friend played, a drug addict convulsing because he was suppose to be having an addiction withdrawal right in front of the altar. 🤣
You could've made it a wholesome story where this elderly man who never got an education made getting a high school diploma his last goal in life. But I guess I'll go with your story xD

I was in a play once where I played a woman being heard having a baby. Since I had never had a baby, I just had do do my best until a woman sitting in on rehearsals said that instead of sounding like I was in labor, I sounded like I was having sex. Oops!
My high school tome consisted being sick and having a lot of friends in grades 9 and 10, changing school amd knuckling down to do well, and then it was all studying and friendly chats with the teachers but no friends my own age. 😂

Hi I need help on my storyline. I just got university and High school for this. My teen sim will get multiple jobs to support the family and neglects school but how do I get them to flunk out? I do want them to get their GED later do I need a mod or something or will Uni and HS support it?

I loved drama, too. In middle school for one of my classes we had to film snippets for the dangers of drunk driving or some nonsense and I did a monologue like someone rehashing getting drunk at a party and driving home, going up onto the sidewalk and ☠️ing a kid by accident. Tears, trembling, and everything. The next day everyone came up to me telling me the teacher used it as an example for everyone else’s snippets so I felt pretty chuffed. 😂
