Love how the actual unboxing didn't start till over 8 and a half minutes in. Gotta love a Leroy rant! 😂
The box was ridiculous but I'd blame Hermes too! Someone clearly booted the hell out of it, there's no way it was sent out in that state. Yes piab need better boxes too but Hermes did that damage.
I'm happy your pops survived though, and Captain marvel is brilliant. 😁
Now that was a fun video to watch. I enjoyed your arguing more than the actual unboxing. PIAB are to blame for this, that was a horrid state to receive the box in. Even if it was the courier that caused the damage, the packaging was shit and there was not adequate protection in the box, the box was too bloody big!

Omg Lee that is unreal! I've never seen anything that bad.. Who is to blame though? I'd say the both of them. Luckily they weren't as bad as the delivery box, but i'm with you 100% you're paying for the mystery and postage to ensure the goods get to you no problem. Don't get me started on Hermes.. 😂 They NEED to change to Yodel or DPD. This video annoyed me and made me laugh at the same time! I'm glad you managed to see the funny side, i would've gone off on them 😂.. Great video as always regardless. You both crack me up!

Packaging/item damage- I blame the company, box damage- I blame the delivery people ,the Ultraman is awesome it's not a pop I'd thought youd want honestly, my only problem with the Ultraman pops is the eyes,should be full yellow not black and yellow, but still neat

Pop in a box and hermes are so useless with they're packing and delivery. And the customer service is so shocking they really don't care what happens as long as they got the money they will always send rubbish boxes to save themselves a bit of money. Thanks for sharing. "Who are you blaming here" - I paused the video to answer this. This is 100% the senders fault for poor packaging, I have worked in the transport industry for over 15 years and as much as I know how poor some companies are, this should have been packaged muck better.
I'm going to be in so much trouble here but....for the first time I agree with Lee over Abby, regardless of if they are in good condition or not the packaging should have been much better. these generic Hut group boxes are no good for anything valuable imho.
No idea who Ultraman Ace is tbh.
2 Pops...FFS this really winds me up as the actual PIAB boxes are designed to protect Pops without internal packaging and I know they do 1 Pop 2Pop and 4 Pop boxes, they should have used them instead of this generic Hut Group box!

To a certain degree you have to give companies shipping in boxes that are too big a bit of a pass at the moment. One of the impacts of COVID is there is actually a shortage of cardboard, it’s not only impacted production but mail order and internet sales have gone trough the roof thus increasing demand. And the larger the company the more it has an impact because the quicker they go trough any box stock they have. It wouldn’t even be too surprised if you got a single pop in a box that size with the way things are.
On Hermes I feel most issues aren’t with the companies themselves but with the drivers. Some clearly take less pride in their job than others. It’s why with all but maybe the biggest few where drivers are driving company vans and are actual employees not self employed freelance drivers you do see a major quality difference between people’s accounts. My Hermes driver is great, packages almost alway perfect and the one time there was significant damage she didn’t even try and deliver rather she showed the damage and said she was taking it back to the depot where it would be automatically returned to the retailer saving me the hassle of sending it back myself. I would personally be annoyed if companies stopped using Hermes (unless it was switched to DPD) as there are those who are much worse for me (including the Royal Mail)
Oh and just to add. I had a 6 pop sub this month (I had some credit from complaining about pops I ordered in sales that were in stock, still in stock and taking orders a week later but 3 months later still hadnt shipped with them telling me it would ship soon whenever I asked only to tell me they couldn’t get stock. And then more credit from them sending a damaged pop that had clearly been damaged on the shelf and sent as the delivery box was perfect and it was Bubble wrapped well so upped my sub) and they came in two boxes, both bigger than needed but was plenty of air pockets, bubble wrap and paper. Got 1 Ten inch, 1 four-pack, 2 comic moments, 1 pop town and 1 standard pop, TPD value was around £110 and retail a fair bit more so was happy with both the packaging, delivery and content

Having fun with PIAB myself I've had a pop come where the pop is actually damaged no issues with packaging, they've offered me 15% refund 😠😠😠

Everyone knows what theyre like but people think theyre the bees knees.
Its disgusting how they act, Abbys wrong in her take on this, no amount of positivity makes up for this. No other commodity we buy would we accept goods like this.

I love your rant's Lee. I do agree with you in that the box is in a shocking state. I get what Abi says also BUT I think i was annoyed as you obviously are. End of the day Herems and PIAB have one simple job to do and if they can't or won't then they should bugger off and let someone else have a go. At the very least PIAB should be amde aware,
All things considered they are not in bad condition. I would still complain though. And yeah i know it's a pain in he arse dealing with them but you might get some discount or something.

Well, I come to watch you talk about pops. 9 minutes of this video was about a box... Hilarious banter though to be fair. Best bet by a mile when you revealed you'd cancelled your 2 pop sub. The pure indignation of the situation but no, not cancelled entirely, reduced to one... Abby had me howling at this stage.
Is it a miracle the pops sustained so little damage?
Part of me wants to be on your side cause piab are a bunch of useless so and So's but another part of me can't help but feel like the reason for the relative minor damage was the packaging......
I'm torn.
