Shows how quickly they can collaborate and game so much more than some veterans who . . . many of which have had experience. Those who can quickly connect in game and click - the player's intelligence is going way beyond some of the coaching and coaching decisions on the league. Looking forward now to games where the All Stars play against each other and can show an increased sportsmanship toward each other - and just give the media nothing but respect to talk about. The US Women’s team just beat Germany by almost thirty points. And that’s without CC on the team. The truth is this…If CC was added to the Olympic roster, she would have been relegated to a bench player because the coach and other players would not want CC to show her skills. So, with that in mind, I’m kind of glad CC is just a spectator for the US Women’s team, when in truth, that’s all they would have let her be anyway. And let’s not forget, Clark needs time to rest and relax and get herself ready for the rest of the WNBA season, as does the rest of the rookie class.
I think CC and Akin should fly over and show up to games to cheer them on. Coach Reeves would have a stroke feeling those two sets of eyes on her neck during each game. Just with those two becoming friends and showing up for games, they would increase viewer ship by just going to games.

CC is a team player and plays to win! If her shots don’t fall she selflessly passes the ball to her teammates when they are open. It’s a communal win and she’s ok with that. When her teammates get with the program they can win a lot!

The US Women’s team just beat Germany by almost thirty points. And that’s without CC on the team.
The truth is this…If CC was added to the Olympic roster, she would have been relegated to a bench player because the coach and other players would not want CC to show her skills. So, with that in mind, I’m kind of glad CC is just a spectator for the US Women’s team, when in truth, that’s all they would have let her be anyway.
And let’s not forget, Clark needs time to rest and relax and get herself ready for the rest of the WNBA season, as does the rest of the rookie class.
I think CC and Akin should fly over and show up to games to cheer them on. Coach Reeves would have a stroke feeling those two sets of eyes on her neck during each game. Just with those two becoming friends and showing up for games, they would increase viewer ship by just going to games.
It’s all about Caitlin Clark. Without her the WNBA would be irrelevant.
Clark, Reese, and Arike ALL belong on that team. I can think of 3 they could easily replace, starting with Griner. They didnt just ibwant Team USA, they kicked their ass! They were up TWENTY at one point! TWENTY!

We should have sent the best US team, not the second best team. The WNBA team had two practices and the US National Team had many more practices, still had their asses beaten and they are already making excuses.

The WBNA team had also not worked together for a long time so they had the same disadvantage that the olympic team had. The selection committee and the coach of the Olympic team are insecure and power hungry.

I'm sure this will be a hot take to some but from what I saw in the Allstar game, Caitlin has the talent and could have easily been the starting point guard for Team USA with full minutes.
What beat the USA team was their defense of C Clark! Double teaming her and she destroyed them by giving the ball to the open player.

CC is a team player and plays to win! If her shots don’t fall she selflessly passes the ball to her teammates when they are open. It’s a communal win and she’s ok with that. When her teammates get with the program they can win a lot!

So silly, 1st Cheryl MILLER did just fine the WNBA team and did not have excuses The plays in basketball are pick n roll, give n go alley-, fast break and alley-oop plays. The only reason the USA women’s Olympics team is having issues about plays to set up someone to go one on one. Saw a bit of that in their game against the WNBA all star team.
Coach has only one duty and that is to shape an environment where their players stand the best chance of success. Looks like the Olympic coach is way over coaching the.
Since they did not take Ms. Clark and some others, the Olympic team better not loose one game and must bring home the gold. Other wise it will be very brutal for the entire team and the selection process.

The Olympic team will do just fine. Let's not try to make more of this than what it is. That team is stacked. Which is the main reason why it was so dumb not to send Clark there in the first place. They are going to win gold with or without her. So why not bring the face of the league to the international stage? We all know how dumb of a move it was, but it's all said and done now. The old guard will be going away here very soon. This rookie class, and the next few rookies coming in, got all the hype right now. The vets SHOULD have jumped aboard the Clark train, instead of trying so hard to derail it.

So the 8 straight winning streak has been broken and the supposed 12 best players turned out not to be the 12 best. So if the Olympic team goes to Paris and wins the Championship for a 9th straight time this should tell you they were prejudiced and did not choose on merit and the real Champion is those snubbed the players. The relevant question isn't whether or not team usa has the best possible line up. If the international teams are as talented as the wnba all stars, they are in trouble. Otherwise they should be fine. We'll know the answer shortly and then we can gripe if they lose.
