- RAW video shot during a West Texas dust storm. Winds gusted in excess of 60 mph and ignited several wildfires across the Texas Panhandle and South Plains and Eastern New Mexico. Some communities had to be evacuated.
This video was shot just west of Levelland, Texas in Hockley County during the afternoon of February 27th 2011.
Video aired on The Weather Channel as well as a number of NBC and Raycom stations.

Always a precursor to the tornado season. We have had the smell of smoke here in OK also. I guess you'll be chasing storms tomorrow, and so will I. Almost a backyard chase for me coming up.
