His Ultimate Magic is INCREDIBLY scary since it doesnt require him to touch anything or anyone (😨) AND he comes from a place with DROUGHT. 😭

It's terrifying. Can you imagine what happens when a person gets caught up when he uses that UM?

@mystique9130 we technically see that with Ruggie in Book 2.

Honestly this explains why he has guts and pride to rival Malleus. He knows he is powerful enough to stand against him. But it also explains his depression despite being strong enough to lead the Sunset Warriors, the elite military group of Sunset Savannah he is predjuiced against thanks to his UM and his status as the second prince. His angst isn't hightlighted enough. 😔

If you wanna see a more better storytelling of Leona's story, go read the novel. I assure you, his story in the novel is 10x more better than the game.
Edit: Speaking of, the Sunset Warriors are no longer relevant because the kingdom is currently at peace so it's pointless for the kingdom to still have one.

Ok, the Novel shows that Leona's UM can cause a huge disaster.
Why can't they show THIS in the game as well!?

If he can't be king of the sunset Savanah, why not aim to be one of the top 5 best mages alongside Malleus?? If he tries hard enough and let his feline nature aside, he might make it.

Maybe thats going to be part of his character’s development arc but imo his development is lacking since ch.2 did him so dirty 😔

The fact it's confirmed that Leona and Falena are 10 years apart in age just speaks how much of a dick the people are to him for no good reason.
First of all, 10 YEARS OLD APART, imagine these people comparing a child to his older brother. Who in the rational mind would do something like this to a child?
Oh I don't wanna hear those excuse that Leona is a problem child with scary magic while Falena is more well behaved kind of excuse.
Not all children are expected to be the same, some children can be menaces while some are nicer and well behaved. They could've just try to understand him and have some patience with him. But you know what, I guess the reason why Leona is such a problem child that time is because of that treatment.
These people especially the servants don't know what it's like to have children.
I feel like Kifaji is the only royal servant who treats Leona differently and sees his potential as a prince and a person.

@@mystique9130 Idk if irrelevant but when Lilia was yapping in book 2 about Malleus I was begging for him to stop cause it was making things worse like you don't think people haven't said that to him? Bro it's like someone telling that to a young Leona that he never be as good of a king like Falena all over again😭

Falena was not even off the hook here either.
Out all of the sibling relationships featured in this story, Leona and Falena's relationship is terrible in a way.
I mean Falena is Twst Mufasa and we all know how much of terrible brother he is to Scar in the movie and the Lion Guard series (that eventually have him dug his own grave). While Falena never treated Leona badly and did once encourage him that he can do something for the country with his talents, the one thing that makes Falena and Mufasa so similar to each other is how dismissive they are to their younger brother's efforts.
In the Lion Guard, when Scar pridefully shows his battle scar as a token for defeating an enemy, Mufasa dismisses him off and gave him his iconic name. That's where Scar begins his villain arc. (Even though Scar desire power from the very beginning, he wouldn't have gone to the edge if Mufasa just treated him better)
In Falena's case, there was a voiceline in Leona's club wear where Leona suggest making am elite team for a Magift world league tournament to enhance the tourism of their kingdom, Falena dismisses this saying that Magift is just a pastime.
This definitely makes sense as to why Leona has a sour relationship with his brother and why he never wants to help him in his political affairs during the Tamashina Mina event. He knows that if he tries to do something to help the kingdom he will be dismissed by everyone, especially his older brother.
Leona never wanted power like Scar did, he just wanted recognition and validation for his efforts. He tries to help only to get rejected over and over again. It hurts alot more when he's being dismissed by his own brother.
Come to think about it why Falena even bother encouraging Leona to make a contribution to the kingdom if he will just dismiss him? It doesn't make any sense to me.
