The one thing I think the animatronics in the first film did better is the special effects guys made it so that Chucky actually started looking human towards the end, with his plastic skin looking more fleshy, his hair turning to brown, and developing a receding hairline. In this film, he's spent too much time in this body and he still looks too "doll-ish" rather than taking on those human characteristics.
Chucky should've possessed Andy earlier considering that he had many opportunities to possess him but for whatever reason he kept wasting his time killing random people instead of trying to possessing him right away. This is why the incantation didn't work considering that Chucky spent too much time in the doll's body and kept wasting time killing random people instead of trying to possess his target. And yes i know Chucky kills people considering that they were interfering with his chant/incantations but that ends up prolonging his human soul inside the Good Guy doll's body even further. I mean had he not kill those people then he would've possessed Andy much sooner.
Good Guys is the name of the brand of dolls. So he means that by transferring his soul into Andy's body he won't be a Good Guy doll anymore. It's also a play on the term "No more mr nice guy."
