Couple of chunks of Gold there ! I've got the grey one in my shed lol...must have a look at it now. Also some big silver dog/panther thing about a foot high. In that lot that I got from a yard sale or something, there was also a green creepie crawlie thing (BIO Bug) that I found out Mark Tilden, inventor of BEAM robots created at Wowwee Toys.
My liitle grandson loves these but he is a bit rough with them so I have hidden them away again. I did video the two lads playing with them but it would have made my video too long so I left it out.
Is the grey one you have exactly the same? I have been Google searching trying to identify him. I have seen lots of similar ones but none quite the same. I want to find if it has any control features or sensors as I can see nothing external. I have even checked Bluetooth and Infrared.
GrandadIsAnOldMan Just found it, not taken it apart yet or put batteries in...looks to be larger than yours, though very similar shapings. Is 6" x 6" (excluding plastic tail). Has wheels underneath, 2 roller types at the back and a 360 degree rotating type base at the front. The legs move forward/backward when the base rotates. His ears seem spring loaded and linked to the mouth. The face has a TV I/R sensor type red plastic rather than your blue. Has speaker grill in its chest. Kinda reminds me of K-9 from Doctor Who :) I expect they'll be from the same manufacturer. Will do a tear down and see what's in this one, hopefully a manuf name will be there too. Unless you've seen such a version already ?
The only information I have so far is included in the video description. I haven't identified the silver grey dog although it looks very familiar. I am sure I have seen that type before, probably one of the larger stores Christmas stock a few years ago.
Jalyn Asbury I could but it's not really my style, I do not normally attempt to make my projects look like anything particularly recognisable. As I remember it is basically a box on wheels with a head that moves a bit and maybe flashing eyes. To be honest it would not look much different to my RC Telephone. ua-cam.com/video/9mX2RCyJC4o/v-deo.html

The Robo-Chi pets (the ones with LCD screens for eyes) came with instructions that explained how they worked and how their moods work via the eyes.
Thank you for commenting, yes, there are links in my video description so you can download the instructions if you need them.

Ah, sounds different, no wheels on this one, genuine walker and it sits up and begs balanced on it's back legs and tail.
Those are pretty interesting finds. Thanks for sharing and let us know what you find out about them.

the robot dog that had a clear head peace on its head looks like one of the old robot dog that were remote controlled.
The One Time there are literally hundreds of different types of these robot dogs. I spent a long time searching Google images trying to identify it
ok.

Possibly just a regular toy you'd find in Walgreens.
I also got a Poochi but sadly his legs got stuck... Any idea how to fix them?
I would love to get Dinochi one day!
You would probably have to take it apart and have a look inside. I don't have these now, I donated them to a charity shop.
