I've heard the sound of a rabbit screaming! My aunt's cat had caught it and my aunt preceded to pry the lil' bunny out of the cat's jaws. The rabbit wasn't hurt but definitely traumatized.
This rabbit was tame compared to what they’re actually like when you first catch them. I used to catch rabbits by hand and every time I would grab one they would scream a blood curdling scream; long, loud, and high pitched. It was terrifying. You never get used to it.
@Royal Twat you don’t grab a rabbit by the throat, they’ll scratch the crap out of you immediately. Also, their teeth can cut through bone so you don’t want your hands anywhere near their face if you can help it. You catch them from behind. If you’re quick enough you can grab them from the middle & toss them in a wire cage. If you’re not quick enough you’ll be lucky to catch the ears or back legs. I guess I tend to scare them more because I’m silent and still before a catch. It’s a lot of tracking and waiting with rabbits, but then you have to be lightning fast or lucky if you’re catching them by hand. If they perceive any threat, they won’t come out.
@Royal Twat but I don’t catch rabbits anymore. I’m not quick enough for that now. Catching them by hand all the time isn’t a great idea for the long term. Especially since they tend to live where snakes & other predators live that might get you before you get your rabbit. It’s better to catch a few females & a male & breed them in a safe place if you’re planning to add them to your diet. You can let them out one at a time to graze for a bit before catching them again & switching them out for another rabbit. Wild caught rabbits don’t look like the ones from the store or taste like them. And they’ll never trust you or want human interaction, but you can still treat them well if you plan to farm them for their meat. They’ll keep your grass trimmed & eat all the dandelions they find. And their poop makes a good fertilizer. Just make sure you don’t use chemicals on your lawn or garden, and don’t leave them out unsupervised because they’ll dig under your fence & run away.

I'm autistic with sensory issues, but not really toward sounds. Most of my sensory issues come with things like my nails rubbing against paper, or the fabric of a car seat. Here is some of the things in this video that bothered me!: - 4:10 loud, sloppy open-mouth chewing. Not cringeworthy, but disgusting to hear. The other open-mouth video doesn't bother me - This is specific, but when people whisper, the 's' sound in words. It is far too sharp of a sound. - 7:20 only because the quality is so bad - 11:35 dentist drills give me really bad waves of anxiety because I'm on so much medication that destroys the strength of my teeth that I have had MANY terrible dentist visits. Doesn't make me cringe, but makes me anxious. The only one that is so bad I have to walk away or cover my ears is the whisper 's' sound

Yes! We had chalkboard in school, and I absolutely HATED having to write something during lessons, because I just can not touch chalk. It feels absolutely horrible to me and my hands would feel uncomfortable for the whole day afterwards. Just thinking about it makes me wanna die, and I haven't touched chalk in years

I have that feeling when i touch raw wood, and i didn't realize until recently that it's a reaction from when i got about a million splinters from a word railing when i was five.
Honestly same, i cant stand touching raw wood for more than a millisecond, i only fear what happens if i accidentally move the wrong way and get all kinds of cut up on it

I'm autistic with sensory issues, but not really toward sounds. Most of my sensory issues come with things like my nails rubbing against paper, or the fabric of a car seat. Here is some of the things in this video that bothered me!:
- 4:10 loud, sloppy open-mouth chewing. Not cringeworthy, but disgusting to hear. The other open-mouth video doesn't bother me
- This is specific, but when people whisper, the 's' sound in words. It is far too sharp of a sound.
- 7:20 only because the quality is so bad
- 11:35 dentist drills give me really bad waves of anxiety because I'm on so much medication that destroys the strength of my teeth that I have had MANY terrible dentist visits. Doesn't make me cringe, but makes me anxious.
The only one that is so bad I have to walk away or cover my ears is the whisper 's' sound
The feeling of rubbing my fingers across something very very smooth makes me cringe- especially when my hands are cold
