Don’t know if any of Tony’s family still look at these comments but I’d like to say a big thank you for allowing his great Steele music to be still able to listen to the late great Tony😢
Hi I'm sally tony wife I'm so pleased your still enjoying his music he had a lot of talent, i am always looking at the comments which give me great comfort that his music is still giving pleasure to people Thanks Sally
@@tonybpr31 Hi Sally thanks for your comments my wife and I are both in our 70s Mal my wife never heard Steele guitar music before till she met me now she loves all these beautiful Steele music,we will have been married 3 years on Sunday BLUES MAN is our song xx
Tony, May you and my pedal steel guitar playing daddy, Ronald E. Rigg (1937-1999) make music together in heaven so beautiful that it makes the angels weep. For those that don’t know, Tony Browne died this past August.
Yeh we all could what a talented player but he too had sadly passed two years past I heard via a comment, message from his wife and through the British pedal steel society 😪 Tony has many posted videos and we must all keep watching them to keep them in there ,🤞👍
I had to put my little best friend to sleep Dec 27.When I play this sometimes it makes me cry but it is so lovely,I have his photo right here.Sometimes it looks like he is talking to me.I will miss him forever.Tony thanks so much for the wonderful music.
Judy Berry..We had to have our Little Black Jess put to sleep very peacefully one year and seven months ago. We have no Grandchildren..we ,[my Wife and I ],used to tell other people that she was our Grandbairn. Like you,we have her on our phones, and if I relate stories about her, my eyes well up instantly, like right now. This music is so relaxing,I have played Electric Guitar for 61 years, have loved steel since I was about twelve years old, first time I ever heard Slim Whitman and his Singing Guitar, and only last night, finally said that's it...and ordered a starter Lap Steel Guitar! I have watched David Hartley and his friend John,[sadly now deceased R.I.P. John],for years, and used to whistle some of their tracks while out walking LBJ,and just now I have discovered Tony, and he is also brilliant, from first hearing.I am sorry to read about your loss,I am like Tony, and believe that Animals don't give you grief,it's people..well SOME people that make life difficult for us all. We still see and hear LBJ,in the house at nights..like something catches your eye in the other room...a shadow...and you could swear it was LBJ popping her head around the doorway to check if you are still there...as she did...I'm getting sand in my eyes....luv Bill

Please keep on playing and don’t ever sell your steel guitar. It broke my heart when my daddy had to sell his to pay medical bills as he’d never get to play again. Playing brought him so much happiness. If you can, please make videos of you playing. BTW, Tony Browne died this past August.

Tony Browne , Hi Tony, I am sitting in the sun with one of your ardent fans George, listening to your music. I told you the other day that I am newly converted to Steele guitar music and was wondering if you had or could do a version of “ you lift me up”. I have listened to this so many times and feel in this climate it could give, people the incentive to carry on, with hope and confidence. It certainly is an inspirational song. Please Tony would you do a copy, I’m sure I’m not the only one who would appreciate it. Thank you for at least reading this, thanks Mal.xx Your newest fan Marilyn Brown (Mal).xxxx
I just discovered this and repeated you playing Blues man a couple dozen times in a row! It reminds me of my Grandfather who was a great musician and loved playing the steel guitar! Thank you Tony!
I absolutely love this version of this song played on the PSG.What a great job by Tony, thanks for putting this up, I've about worn it out listening to it over and over. Hopefully I can get the Tab from JR
Grade-u-ated from a voc tech high school in Toledo OH in 1972... and played guitar in a country band. Talk about an outcast!!! Bought a beginner steel 8 years ago, took lessons for six months... and gave up. With the bar over just one fret position, using the 10 strings and combinations of the foot and knee pedals, there's something like 35-40 different chords you can make. Went back to guitar. At least I can make something that resembles music with it. :(
Hi Tony what a great tune to take the edge off, i for one am very glad you posted this for us all i wish i had the talent you have in your little finger Tony, good health my friend cheers Brian and on the Sho-bud
