I have to say Mr Biz you have helped me a lot over the 2 years of the course. I have finally finished the course and with the help of your useful videos. Hopefully I can go to uni and carry on watching these videos! Thank you again
Finally finished all the A-Level business papers 🙏🏼. Just want to say a massive thank you to TakingTheBiz. Without your helpful videos I wouldn’t have been half as prepared as i was so thanks again!
Expect lots of numbers - calculations early on then lots of data response questions. If I remember correctly, last year's paper contained questions on ratios, exchange rates, profit margins etc, so expect your calculator to be busy tomorrow. I'm pretty sure AQA have a formula sheet on their website, so I'd advise making sure you know all of the calculations for paper 2. I think some of the theories such as Lewin's force field were on there last year too, so brush over your theories. I think paper 2 is the toughest of the AQA papers. AQA paper2 will be trending on Twitter tomorrow if it's another tough paper!
Hi I'm going to subscribe to your channel today! I'm definitely going to do Business Studies at A Levels. I'm already doing AQA Business Studies for GCSE's and it has gone very well! I'm hugely excited to take A Level Business and I'm hugely interested in it! Please can you give me some advice for next year. Thank you!
Congrats on 100+ top quality videos. Quick question Could you describe briefly Corporate Strategic direction Divisional Functional Why there are needed? Exam tomorrow and this is one topic which may throw me off. Thanks only reply if you have time. Cheers possibly with an example.
@@adammcmillan6667 Corporate objectives are the overall objectives of the company. They help achieve the strategic vision of the business. For example, if the strategy pursued by a company was growth, then a suitable corporate objective might be to increase global market share by 10%. If the strategy of the business were to be more environmentally sustainable, a suitable corporate objective might be to increase the amount of energy derived from renewable sources by 50%. in order to help achieve these corporate objectives, smaller, more focused objectives might be set for different areas or functions of the business. For example, if the corporate objective were to increase market share by 10%, then the marketing department might be set the functional objective of increasing sales by 1 million units whilst operations are set the objective of reducing delivery times to customers by 2 weeks. Both of these functional objectives would help work towards the overall corporate objective of increased market share, which in turn works towards the strategic goal of growth.
Yo so with the exam in the afternoon, what would you reccomend doing in the morning before the exam? Like should i study or just chill. I dont wanna do too much work incase I burnout...
Hi, if i give the flip side of my point on the evaluative questions while still making my 'for' point do i need to chain that analysis or just briefly mention it for ev marks? Also if a question says to analyse something then am i able to give both sides or just one?
I’ve learnt more from you in the space of two hours than my business teacher

Are you referring to different types of objectives?

Hi do you think the grade boundaries will be lower for paper 1 as it was a tricky paper
That depends on how tricky all the other candidates found it! In theory, if the marks achieved are lower then the boundaries may come down a little.
