I find it interesting that most of them has fragmented parts of the original threat themes, as if they’re slowly becoming forgotten as nothing, but a fleeting memory of what these regions were formerly once were before, until they crumble away through either nature going through its course as time goes on, even as far as after Saint’s campaign, or the eventual overtaking of the Void Sea that’ll soon engulf all of the world that Rain World takes place on. Desolate Fields, formerly the Farm Arrays, has most of its threat music intact, mostly because its one of the last few areas that you’ll travel to before your descent into the Subterranean, then eventually the Depths, where you’ll make your way to the Void Sea to ascend, but for Saint’s case: *_to Rubicon._*_ Where everything, everywhere, and nowhere is all just fragmented memories of where you last been, where you haven’t been, being everywhere, and nowhere all at once, only to realize that you’ll eventually repeat the cycle to where you last started._
I love how far you deviated from the original themes while having juuust enough of it still to be recognizible as those respective songs and regions, super awesome.
like we completely lose the iconic waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa of Outskirts, Frigid Coast's missing a few notes in the melody, and Glacial Wastelands is so much less yoinky sploinky
@@justgames2788 Fair enough, but having slowed or pitch-changed or slightly altered(more or fewer and/or shifted around notes) but still recognizable versions of the most memorable parts of the songs would still be neat, showing that there's still some of the old and memorable buried beneath the wear and tear and snow. These sound more like new songs than different versions of the old ones, which is a little jarring when so much of Saint's campaign is about showing how the world you know is changed but still partially familiar.
I wish it was adapted to game logic and made into a mod by adapted I mean the melody in the original soundtracks is divided so it can fade in and out if the threat is far or close, I've seen some files and it looks interesting I love rainworld and I heard one fan theme for a custom region I think, and sadly it was starting good and then degrading into chaos (unmelodic and not even aesthetic, it just used too much instruments, I know that mistake by my own experience) Now, these though these themes are neat enough good job if you did that all by yourself

2:16 - Icy Monument
4:16 - Glacial Wasteland

Btw, nice video man, I really liked these, especially Farm Arrays.
@@SaymonPorko23 thanks! Also farm arrays was also one of my favourites

I guess you got my intentions in making these threat themes prefectly!
with 300 hours in the game you had me convinced for a split sec these were actual themes.
great work man!

Ngl I kinda like how subdued they sound, though it's a shame the core melodies are changed so much imo
