I really have to remind myself that this is not a disbandment song, simply the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one. They're parting ways here and now, but it somehow feels like this was done on their own terms? At least, I hope so! And I think, thinking that everything was done correctly and right by them, it feels kind of easier to accept this situation.This was beautifully bittersweet! And to make it even more bittersweet, I think this is their best song to date! This is the shining star that Kep1er is, the ethereal, otherworldly, cosmic, angelic, sophisticated Kep1er! Really, really nice comeback and very selfishly, I hope for Kep1er to keep doing this kind of music in the future too. And I can't wait to see where their journey will lead them! Not every ending is bad and I hope they'll all be happy where they'll be soon.

Oh man that was really well said! I didn’t really keep up with the group so them disbanding hits me a lot different compared to those that have been following this group closely and that were big fans of them. On the flip side, from the songs I did listen to from them, this is 100% my favorite song. Really hoping with the renewal they continue on the path of this song

I was really surprised to hear about the contract extension but somehow the members leaving don’t really surprise me. If anything I’m surprised more members didn’t leave but maybe their OG companies really didn’t have anything lined up for them after this maybe?

@@HallyuBlastEnt that’s literally it. Mashiro and Yeseo’s company is the only one that has plans and can actually execute them well. They’ve always planned on adding the 2 girls to LimeLight, which is doing well (and IKON is signed with them too).
Them being the only 2 that share a label is major part of it. I don’t think any of the other labels want to debut their girl solo/don’t have plans to debut a new girl group.
Cube isn’t gonna do anything with Yujin.
Xiaoting isn’t really even under a label, it’s more like a training center, since they only have trainees and no active idols.
Hikaru’s label is busy with XG.
Bahiyyih’s label is trying to get WEEEKLY back on its feet.
Youngeun’s label is TINY.
Dayeon is under Jellyfish and they do not have a great girl group track record (literally just disbanded WekiMeki)
Chaehyun is under WakeOne and they have no plans either.
Mashiro and Yeseo were the only ones that knew they had definitive plans post-Kep1er.
