It’s a warm, summer evening, and a storm is approaching in the distance beyond the forest. The wind has already arrived, whipping up gusts of warm movement through the leaves. The atmosphere is balmy, there’s a lull and a heaviness in the air and the deep, distant rumbling is both soothing and powerful.

All of my videos are completely original and made from scratch. They take weeks to produce and are completed in different stages.
I create my 3D scenes in VUE - sculpting terrains, sourcing materials, modelling items, and placing them into the scene, adjusting lighting, angles, and other effects.
Once I’ve rendered the scene, I might use compositing techniques and other adjustments in Adobe Photoshop to add in new features. Then, I import it into Adobe After Effects, where I bring the scene to life with various animations and effects.
Next, I create a soundscape specifically for the atmosphere by combining several sounds together using a sound mixer, which involves applying various settings and adjustments.
Finally, everything is put together with video editing software and uploaded here for you to enjoy!

Before a storm comes you can hear the low rumble before it transforms into a thunder storm!
That is the best part, hey! So soothing.
@@balmycove it happened between 25-26 May at 23:00 a huge thunderstorm came and i could hear low rumble... at 23:30 It rained very hard then started to hail until 0:00 this is where i woke up. It stopped then it started again... the water went flying on the street and i thought it was a tornado but no we went through middle of the storm. At 2:00 AM after passing still was rumbling.
*Romania sure has dangerous storms!*

I like it too! I lived in the south, so it needs some critter sounds, crickets, cicadas, and maybe a bird here or there. These are what I remember just before a storm.

I agree. Render times and file sizes limit me at the moment, but you can always select "Loop" on the video to play it infinitely :)
Update: I'm working on an updated version of this video, without the creaking branches ("tapping" / "snapping" sounds), and hopefully will be able to get a longer version up! Stay tuned.

I've checked out the 1 yr, 3mo, & 1 day versions (at your gracious suggestion); and I have to say, this one here is superior. Visually anyway, imo. The subtle fireflies (not too much), the lighting is splendid, then that rolling thunder. Puts me out! When I do wake up and see perfection, I'm out again. Face it, you cannot improve on perfection.

Would be perfect but the occasional tapping sound keeps me from falling asleep. I guess that's supposed to be creaking of branches? Much love! Still a great video.
I've had a couple of comments about that! Noted, and I have great news - I'm in the process of reworking the original to remove the creaking branches, so that it helps you all to sleep. It might also be longer than one hour ... ;)

Pardon I love the video but I noticed a series of clicks through the video that is quite annoying. I’m not sure if this is ambience but if possible could you eliminate that?
Thanks! I think what you're referring to are some tree branches creaking, I can see how it might sound like clicking. It's part of the original recording, it can't be removed, sorry.

I gathered it was supposed to be an extreamly loud crackling noise from the fireplace in the small cottage. Extremely small cottage, I might add. The crackling must be unbearable inside. 😂
@@balmycove It’s two clicks with exactly 10 sec intervals. I can’t see how that can’t be fixed. The ambience is totally ruined by this, as wonderful as it would be without this annoyance.
