I have lived in both cities. Almost everything that made Austin such a magical place has been a victim of gentrification. In addition, way too many people have moved there and the roads are all congested at all times. The rents and real estate values are now out of reach.
I moved from Alaska to San Antonio, lived there for 2 years. I found my self always coming to Austin, I now call Austin home. They are both beautiful cities and are completely different. I missed the beauty of Alaska and it’s mountains and large bodies of water. Austin’s hill country , lakes and rivers just made me feel closer to home . I love it here.
But San Antonio also is next to the Hill country and has lakes and rivers. Canyon Lake, Guadalupe River, Government Canyon Natural Bridge Caverns etc. Sounds like you just didn't explore at all.
This is a great documentary. Probably the most informative on UA-cam. Needs more thumbs up and comments
Thank you!
I grew up in the San Diego area and notice a lot of similarities in San Antonio which is a good thing. Love the documentary 👍🏻
*San Antonio ❤*
I’m torn between the two
They're both great cities.
