- As Andrea moves into her college apartment she looks back at her memories with her best friend Mariela, who could not join her on her journey to college. Overwhelmed by sadness, there might be more than meets the eye when exploring their friendship.

The Latinx Film and Theater Association (aka LFTA) is a student-run, UCLA organization that seeks to center Latinx voices in creative spaces. I loved this! This was beautifully written, beautifully done, actresses were great, cinematography was artistic and the music fit each scene put me right there in the moment. I'm not latina, I'm just a white bisexual, but I liked the latinx cultural aspect that was portrayed also. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

@Alien Ganstera this isn't even specific to these short films. Student films always try to do too much and grief/death (ex: car crash and cut to black) is always in the mix somehow to seem deeper. Since most of the these films you see are student films as well, that pattern remains.
