- On `Dickinson's Real Deal', flamboyant antiques expert and presenter David Dickinson hosts the show where you can make the most money for your antiques, the results of which can produce big windfalls or big busts.
The challenge is how to get the best deal. Contestants meet the dealers who offer cash for an item. The seller must decide whether to accept the guaranteed money or risk fortune or failure in the auction room. Of course, placing one's trust in a positive auction outcome is a gamble in itself! Will they make the right choice?

The father and other lady's husband had a huge collection and passed away which is why you see that duo. Now the others that are repeats are small time dealers themselves and always have a different story. However I think this mother daughter duo are just trying to downsize a loved ones collection

If someone is selling gold or silver I think they would be better off getting scrap value for themselves.
Often more hassle than its worth, most places taking gold will want a margin. Even if you take the risk of posting it direct they still only pay 95% of scrap value and will usually quibble when they receive it.

I’ve had 2 LG OLEDS. ONE IS 6 years old it’s burnt out. It’s not burnt in its out! It was used for 6 months but 55” is small. It went to a guest room. Reds no longer show in the centre of the screen. Incredible due to such little use. My 2.5 year old c8 65” is getting the vary same error. It’s better as the red pixels are 2x bigger now. Both tv not ever used for games. Used standard or eco mode. Never had a still image EVER! Never again.
