I personally feel this is one of the only times the anime has truly demonstrated just how insanely powerful big mom is.
She was plenty intimidating when she was chasing the Thousand Sunny out of Totto Land. It took everything the Straw Hats had, including Nami turning her own power against her, just to hold her off. She's always been a monster.
Which is why I will never understand the comments dragging her as a Yonko compared to the others. Sheβs a f*cking monster.

I do love how One Piece will take a character like Big Mom and make her a serious threat, most other series would make her a joke because she's old, fat, a mom/granny with a bunch of kids, but she is absolutely one of the scariest and most powerful characters in this universe.
Even her power, which basically makes funny cartoon creatures, is horrifying. It really does say something that the ending of her arc was that Luffy and his crew managed to survive, not win.

The Straw Hats + Fleet would have been slaughtered in Whole Cake Island if they went for a straightforward attack, that's why they reduced the crew for a stealth mission.

Well, there is reasons for that. Her dumb food disease, as a kid she was stronger than giants because "she was born that way", then 1 year chasing a stupid cake, her crew can't climb a waterfall (big mom pirates = supposed world power, but...), Nami steals her thunder cloud easily, later (little spoiler) she is literally trowed out of the scene by Jimbe and Robin, etc, etc.. The character is a complete joke. She has the power of a "final boss" so to speak, but her traits, personality, the way she is designed, etc.. it's all goofy

Toei have stepped up their level for the yonkou saga, they deserve respect for the quality and the consistency, they are easily making one the best arc thus far.

To be honest, i dont think there is a "weakest" yonko, but only those who are phisically underpowered in comparison to Kaido, who is a monster by itself. For example, Shanks, who we know is a beast of a warrior but has about 1/10 the size and toughness of body when we put him beside of Kaido or Big Mom

Even though the pacing is unbearable at times, the animation for Wano has been nothing short of spectacular. How they are able to make it look this good continuously week after week is beyond my understanding.
Plus the entire COVID situation is probably making things go slower, they really are doing an amazing job in animating!

They've been giving us some south park level animation. Its lost all fluidity lately my boi kawamatsu barely moves if not on a 2-3 frame loop.
Toei's model seems to make slide show for the anime with their fluidity to save effort for the big moments.

The Yonko are apart of the balance and the marines donβt need one to fall either because just like when Whitebeard died it left a hole in the balance the world fell into unrest because pirates everywhere were amped up trying to replace Whitebeard and claim his territory so it caused a lot of havoc around the world which is why the Admirals had to work overtime to quell the seas until Blackbeard filled the spot.

Some time's it great other's questionable like Luffy vs Kaido while it was exciting the whole point of that scene was to demonstrate the gap in power.
When you turn the page your reaction is "what just happened?" Because it took zero effort from Kaido to one shot him vs the anime where there was build up you lose that subtlety
