A somewhat original story with the theme of parents and the favoritism of one child over the other, it was quite refreshing to see the typical talented brother, not being an arrogant and idiot with his brother, in fact it was the opposite, it was the moral support that the MC needed to endure living in that house and not completely lose confidence in himself, it is true that his self-esteem was low, but I can't imagine what would have happened if his brother hadn't been there, he would have felt completely abandoned and isolated in his own house, I wonder how someone like the protagonist's brother could be so kind, mature and understanding having such horrible parents, anyway, it is an interesting twist to know that the protagonist's brother was the one who played Cupid and pulled the strings so that someone besides him saw how great his little brother (protagonist) was.
I honestly thought that this episode was going to be clickbait with a similar title from 4 weeks ago. 11:35 that caught me off guard 13:56 where'd they come from? 14:57 that's supposed to be her line. I really hate favouritism. I can understand why souma thought ema only wanted to see him to get to his older brother, especially with how most of the girls did that to him. but ema proved her love for him and even admitted that he wasn't what she imagined. she did feel bad for hearing his situation on getting used to him being compared to his brother by everyone. Shuma's such a cool older brother. I even liked the way he told ema she'll have to deal with him if she makes him cry which reminded me of kanon's episode from 10 months ago called "a marriage certificate suddenly arrives at a single man's house". Their parents suck though. even though yesterday we had this drawing style, the thumbnail looks like the one from 8 days ago. Also, this clip turned out better than yesterday as well from manga bear. I would've given extra points if ema had said she'll make souma happy.

Man it just kinda irritated me a bit that we never hear about his parents. I would be normally fine with it, but this story ended with them marrying each other. His parents probably attend the wedding, or did he not invite them? OR, it would’ve been much better if the parents apologize to him at the wedding or even after that. He obviously gave a speech at the ceremony, which writer could made it involves his insecurity towards his big brother & how his parents treat him. And also how his big brother gave confidence to him despite how he was treated by his parents. Story could ended with more heartwarming & touching way rather than just your usual & average happy ending.

Meanwhile, Souma's and Shuma's parents got mad at Souma and Shuma, the latter for him allegedly betraying them, and the former for daring to turn their son against him, but when both sons, as well as their fiances, showed the parents of the men that they love all of the theft and corruption that those two had done to the men that they had loved in their lives, then they became even more indigent with their attitudes in their lives. However, when the people that were at Souma's and Shuma's workplaces had heard just how badly that they had neglected Souma, and had used Shuma, and when the employees that had worked under their parents began to speak up about their horrible and tyrannical attitudes that they had done to them, well, their bosses at their companies had it out with them and not only were they both fired immediately, but also arrested for the long list of crimes that they had committed against the employees of the company, as well as to the bosses, the company itself, to their own children, and even for criminal organizations, t e r r o r i s t groups, d r u g cartels, and rogue/enemy states. Needless to say, Souma's and Shuma's parents lost everything, their children, their jobs, their belongings, their freedom, and, yes, even their l i v e s, thanks to their enemies paying them back for turning their backs on them in order to save themselves (though their enemies also paid the price for their misdeeds, so things worked out for making the world better, as the trash took itself out anyway). Now, you may think that Souma and Shuma had struggled with their finances, and their belongings, but, after Ema's and Midori's parents heard about Souma's and Shuma's parents, well, they knew that the men that they had fallen in love with were the right kinds of people to head up their companies, and, by sheer coincidence, the places where the young men that their daughters had fallen for were exactly the same places that Souma's and Shuma's parents had worked for, and Ema's and Midori's parents said that, as long as the men that they love also did jobs at their companies, and also did them well, and right, in their lives, that they would gift them their companies, which is the reason why Souma and Shuma had the double wedding. Also, as a bit of further thanks, they got all of the students that had sided with them against their parents jobs with those companies as well, and, although Souma's and Shuma's parents are no longer around, at least their children that they will have with their wives will still have grandparents that love them in their lives.
