I hear what you're saying about Levi Colwill Miz but we have to remember Levi Colwill is currently 21 years old, in comparison, Gabriel Magalhães is 27 years old, while William Saliba is 23, not to talk of Virgil van Dijk who is 33. I think we all forget for a defender, he is still so young. He is learning his trade, in the most difficult league, with no experienced campaigners by his side like VVD or Gabriel provide to their partners. I blame Chelsea directors for poor squad management. It's either Thiago Silva should have stayed (used sparingly and his exp would have been invaluable), or Chelsea should have acquired a top level, commanding RCB to help Levi, teach him and bring him through. That's all he needs (time to make mistakes and grow). Though everyone knew Christensen was a top talent, he was young and so made mistakes for a long period if you recall... Sadly we just have to be patient with him in a position that is unforgiven.
Definitely true about the defence. A rookie needs an experienced defender to show the ropes, like Terry had Leboeuf and Desailly, Maldini had Baresi and Cannavaro played alongside Thuram at Parma and well you do have the odd ones that are just naturally gifted like Nesta, Ferdinand and the likes.
If Lavia gets injured one more time, i think i lt will be time to start thinking about selling him. No doubt he is good, but of he keeps getting injured, what good is he?
Guiu need mins in PL to show is capable of being a backup and Nkunku must be played vehind a striker moving Palmer to the right (RW) as he has been figured out as AM

If you're in the title race then your manager isn't going to play Disasi as a right back while Gusto, Acheampong, and James are benched. If you're in the title race then you're not playing Palmer as a left-biased CAM while Enzo pushes into the right halfspace. If you're in the title race then you're not going to play Cucurella as a left wingback or left-sided 8 in a diamond. And conversely, if your manager does do these kinds of things then you're definitely not in the title race. At least not for long. That said, if you aspire to be a title contender then half the team also cannot be switching off for half a game, just feebly jogging about and not really paying attention to what's happening, in no small part because of how delicious those extra helpings of Christmas turkey with lots and lots of gravy was. That sort of slacking off just isn't what title winners are made of. And regarding Colwill, he's not really above 7/10 on anything but I would say he's close enough to a 7/10 in most aspects, as well as quite proficient on the ball. And Colwill is still only 21. He's basically still a kid. If he could get over his hesitancy to get physical and maybe back off just a little bit less, if he could be just a little bit more aware of what's happening around him, then it's not so much his key ability in one area as his general ability in all of them that potentially puts him at another level.
I wish Maresca listen to this podcast. Actually even the sporting directors should sometimes listen to Chelsea club podcast. I really don't fully trust Colwel and Desasi is out of questions. He have to play Acheampong at least 30 minutes sometimes. Maresca fully knew that Jackson isn't a sharp shooter so in my opinion Guiu needs to play and then subs him with Jackson after the break.
