Boxing can be good for Fire being a "hit fast, hit hard" combat style. This philosophy mainly embodies Fire. Wrestling is definitely Earth. Most techniques in it, if I'm not mistaken, would really focus on putting enemies to the ground. Capoeira is mainly Air IMO. The Capoeira user is often moving using their dance-like steps (similar to Baguazhang). And their kicks, while beautiful, are fast and hard-hitting.

The creators clearly were using Chinese Kung Fu for all the Air Benders. Makes sense since most of Chinese martial arts are based on the elements or the Chiense Virtues

Great video. Semi unrelated, I always wondered: what wing chun kung fu would look like with bending any element? Which element would it suit the most?
Would toph’s stance with her palms inverted inward toward her body be consider tiger claw style as well?
Depends, the point of a tiger claw is to rend flesh, it’s not a fancy thing
No, the video is misleading. Toph is using Southern Mantis only and there is no tiger claw in this system. Palms inverted inward do have many applications but it's not related to tiger claw/ Hung Gar at all.
The power within, The power within, the power within, THE POWER WITHIN!! (Lol 😆 I wonder how many people will get this reference)

What if conspirucy:what if the infinity stones nevere existed
what if conspiracy: you could spell
"While the air nomads are a peaceful nation.." yet showing clips of Korra and not the many clips of Aang or Aang's Air Nomad family. And then bringing up "Baguazhang" and showing clips of the new gen Airbenders flying around and not clips of Aang actually performing it.
Who edited this video??
Lol typical toxic ATLA fans.
Very Cool 😎… well done.
you got this a bit wrong. fire bending is hung gar (a branch of southern shaolin, made famous by Wong Fei Hong), Earth bending is wing chun (branch of southern shaolin made famous by bruce lee and yip man movies). Air bending is ONLY baguazhang, and not xingyiquan. though there is at least one branch of bagua that has roots in xingyi because it is the older style and bagua's founder only taught people that already mastered another style (one of which was a xingyi master). Water bending is taichi as you said.
No you wrong
Earth is hung gar
Water is literally liuhebafa
Also fun fact liuhebafa is the strongest martial art that exists and the hardest
Firebending also is kinda based on tae kwon doe, the spinning kicks is called a hook kick, the powerful punches, they pull their elbow back like in tae kwon doe! And also I do the form, so I know a lot.
No.
The fight choreographer didn’t indicate that at all.
All martial arts have overlaps.
Your claim is rather superficial.
I love that this is an Avatar video but in woodbending there are Naruto scenes. Lol
This is to show footage related to vo
@@dbzfan3154 yeah
and the style used by aang in the stick is called silabam ancient tamilan martials
Time to learn baguazhang
The moon spirit is La, the "pull" of water, and the ocean spirit is Tui, the "push"
Best show of the 20th century
Can you do a MCU Adamantium video?
There's one already breaking down Adamantium vs. Beskar and Vibranium! ua-cam.com/video/nSw7z_jvc0I/v-deo.html
@@cbr i might need to make what i said clearer. So to rephrase the question can you do a video about how will they introduced Adamantium into the mcu. I would like to hear your opinions/theories on hiw they will do that.
Just a note.
Sticky Hands is not unique to Southern Praying Mantis. Other martial arts, especially Wing Chun, use it.
So diverse!😯🤩
What about the style for lava benders?
Hmm
The Shaolin style and Tai Chi king fu are very unique styles.
Kung fu
my two favorite shows featured in one video yeehaw
"q"s in chinese are usually pronounced with a "ch"
It amazing the amount of martial arts in this movie!
Tv show.
Would love to be a water bender
Do the creators of the netflix live action even understand this?
Heeeej what about Azulas style? She is so perrrfect
How can you think a psychopath is perfect ? 🤨
@@PpAirO5 because i say so 😌 Azula is my fav character she is a beast, strong intelligent very skilled, just so evil i adore her

how much wood would a woodbender bend if a woodbender could bend wood?
I wonder what elements boxing, wrestling, or capoira would fall under?
Boxing can be good for Fire being a "hit fast, hit hard" combat style. This philosophy mainly embodies Fire.
Wrestling is definitely Earth. Most techniques in it, if I'm not mistaken, would really focus on putting enemies to the ground.
Capoeira is mainly Air IMO. The Capoeira user is often moving using their dance-like steps (similar to Baguazhang). And their kicks, while beautiful, are fast and hard-hitting.
I think earth benders could be generic avatars by doing air bending techniques with sand bending fire techniques with lava bending water techniques with mud bending and earth with you guessed it earth lol learn to bend diamonds into armor/ weapons hell bend a suit on you and fly even so yeah earth benders are generic avatars
Can you do star wars fix the last jedi
The creators clearly were using Chinese Kung Fu for all the Air Benders. Makes sense since most of Chinese martial arts are based on the elements or the Chiense Virtues
In the Legend of Korra they also used some boxing why didn't you mention that?
He I love ur channel yay I’m the first comment
Ur not😂
If I could have one element to control it would be air
Something netflix avatar the last air bender is missing
Make a video focusing on martial arts in the Naruto verse
In my opinion, Avatar's series is the most well developped animation show in the west
Ooo wood's kinda like an In-between earth and water, like how mud is water and earth
Fire nation is definitely the most flashy
man aang combat skill would be really awesome if he tried bein offenceive
1.21Airbenders are evasive not defensive. just saying.
Do you think any non-air nation avatars ever got their tattoos after mastering air bending?
6:28 that doesn't really make since that air bending would work with a punch??? it just seems outta for its nature idk lol
What about sokka bending.
On 10:06 I just realized old Toph is actually wearing a dress?! 👗 And 135th comment.
They need to make a bending style or change a bending style to use more modern fighting styles like muay thai, BJJ or MMA
All styles that are still around are modern. Using a newer one is worse anyway, there’s less spirituality involved so the reasoning behind bending wouldn’t make sense
You barely showed bumi!!! The second best earth bender!
