Silas sales a lot of stuff. So does his buddy mr. Good pliers. Who's the guy New England been doing this for a long time. He has traveled the country. You should go find his channel. He's not doing as much as I used to but many cars is he pointed out there still got to be a number of them for sale. As far as condition and prices the southern third of Kansas has to be the best. As you do get farther out and Kansas they begin to burn up in the Sun. Just like they do when you go in Oklahoma and down into Texas and of course anywhere in the Southwest. Old army post at been around for some time. The GI have thrown their cars away and they scatter in the hills around them. Now if you're looking for a particular car or truck then it gets a little more challenging. But if you go in with an open mind and just looking for a project that fits in a category you'll find something and they'll be plenty to choose from. Of course Colorado any fun go farther west the high plateaus up in the Northwest on the Eastside of the Rockies. What qualifies me to say this? Look at my handle on UA-cam. I've been hunting these things for a long time. I can tell you where these groups of cars from 200 all the way up to nearly 2,000. I'm talking about the old stuff. No Hyundai's or Hondas there. I think you said you're from New Jersey. Check out gas pump Rob out in California and his route 66 trip. He's a transplant from New Jersey. Western North Carolina. Southern Georgia Alabama even parts of Florida. But they will be as Rusty as they are out in States like Missouri. Nebraska North Dakota South Dakota Wyoming Montana they are just too far apart and they tend to rest and burn in the Sun but surface rust. Something similar to the Southwest. Heck I've got over a hundred of these myself. My point is if you really want something to work on and you're willing to travel or pay transportation cost and able to find a place to work on it and so forth. They are out there and these are plenty of hunting grounds I've given you the idea. Why do I share this information? Some of it's commonplace and I'm not going by them all anyway. I just want to see the hobby grow and continued well into generations beyond me.
Absolutely! Here in the northeast we find wrecks or junkers; it's salt, ya know? SIlas does a fine job, better than I would!

You have great camera skills more often than not you have the shot perfectly in frame unlike a lot of tubers that seem to shoot the ground and people's feet... And once in a while you actually nail a shot and create art.. The opening shots where absolutely beautiful
There is one part about your videos that gets me, the music you gets stuck in my head all day while working my farm/stables. Thanks, you play the right stuff going along with the action of the videos that help me get boring jobs that have to be done every day , almost makes cleaning horse stalls a pleasure. Ha!

those old mid 50-60s HD trucks are worth stuff, only prob is getting them to buyers.......here in NE they wood sell toute suite at the swap meets but prob is getting them here

Maybe find a spare oxygen bottle ? Next time you get a flat on a loader put in some tire ject, better then slime and will seal up bullet holes ! Check out "One Lonely Farmer" has a great vid on tire ject.

Silas you should gear yourself up a service truck for your yard with your Burning gear on it and pick up a Plasma set and a generator to match and use that instead of gas, probably a lot cheaper in the long run, plus you dont have to run or gas and the plasma machine may even run of your emergency electrical unit you use for charging your batteries.??. The gas I use to cut is actually very affordable. I spend about $400 per year on it

Congrats on your website. Though it would sadden me sometimes when I see you cut parts off for wall hangers, I'm really seeing just how much money there is to be made with wall art and other creative repurposing of these old trucks. I finally got the back of that old 59 GMC cut off to make a head board for my bed and decided to google some ideas. Ironically, that style of cab or similar seems to be the most used for this purpose. I know some are just wood recreations but, the OG versions can fetch some insane prices. I could probably buy 3 to 5 complete trucks from you with the prices I've seen. Your yard looks like a pot of gold because you just don't see your inventory where I am. I know it's easier just to sell to the middle man or woman but, if someone in your area with some skills, vision and ambition could just step up and start creating this auto art.....Heck, I would do a 50/50 deal. You supply me the material, I make us rich.....Well, much better off at least. Cheers!
