She can sing & she is underestimated by the public but she’s not a vocalist or spectacular, she has improved over the years in range & agility but she still is a pretty average singer, vibrato is no where to be found, her runs are just not on point, she strains a lot, she doesn’t support consistently or at all most of the time. she has a nice head voice but its underdeveloped. Overall she’s a good singer, not a great vocalist. Fans need to stop comparing her to Katy Perry, Demi, Ariana, Kesha & the other girls because Taylor is not on their level vocally & the public needs to stop saying she can’t sing because its a lie.
Pretty much, the progression I see is about 2007-2012 it's very a-mature (whiny, pitchy, overly breathy, etc). Up until about 2016 it's inconsistent, as in not always great not always bad. Since then however, her vocal ability has stabilized at a very good, but not extraordinary level. I would say she isn't a star or an A grade singer, but she's gone from a D+ in 2010 or so to a B now. Would be B+ except for she doesn't have particularly much musicality in improvisation. This is why I really hate is when people say they can't learn to sing. It takes a long time, but it's a skill that requires no money to learn. I think that's really cool!
Sawyer Bass She’s a C+ now, She has improved but she has a basic voice tbh & its not a diss, no where near a B when it comes to capabilities & support, Agility, resonance & skills
What is this thing with saying oh "While x person was sick" 4:40 If that person was actually sick they wouldn't come out to sing. Small colds have basically no affect on the voice post warmup. It doesn't make the vocal any more or less impressive.
Your comment seems pretty contradictory, saying she wouldn't come if she were sick but that being sick doesn't affect it enough to be impressive? Fyi Taylor would always come, she's only canceled two concerts in her entire career. And it definitely is impressive to put on a good performance when you're feeling physically unwell.
Typically when u have a cold there are so many factors that can affect your vocal. Your voice tend to sound more nasally, and it's harder to control it. And god forbids you have a phlegm. That'll literally affect your pitch and makes it so much harder to control your voice even if u just swallow it. So YES. It makes a huge difference. I personally performed with cold before and it was terrible. The fact that she can pull this off under the same condition is impressive.

It's some random dude online who claims to somehow know weirdly specific details like what days other people were "sick" down to minor colds that somehow don't cause a single sneeze on stage, but of course is supposed to absolutely wreck their voice.
People say it because they hate her. She's so professional, hard working! I started following her in 2015 and I saw her in Milan, she's definitely the best artist we have! ❤

Taylor definitely can sing. She may not have the BEST VOICE OR TECHNIQUE, but it’s her tone and lyrics that make her stand out.
