Just keep an eye on Mitch and you can tell how long ago it is, because he changes his look so often. Lol they just received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The only a cappella band in history to do so! They are phenomenal (and yes that includes Avi, he chose not to attend, he clearly has his own reasons, but also he was integral to their success).
I wish Avi could've been part of the Hollywood Star ceremony. I love Matt and Avi's solo work, but he definitely had a hand in all that is Pentatonix! He should get a plaque too, darned it. But they absolutely deserve that honor! They are amazing! 💕
I loved this song enough to buy it when it came out. It's in my random music playlist. My favorite part is showing them in street clothes for the last line. so fitting.
This is from 2014, just before they started to really get big. I think doing this song was a reference to their already starting to feel successful and earning some real money, with the success of their UA-cam channel and first Christmas album.
Great video and reaction. You should check out Avi’s work without PTX. It starts with his work as Avriel and the Sequoias the last year or so he was in PTX. There are some stand out songs on that album and goes onto Change is on the Rise and Floating on a Dream and the Sunset Sound Sessions.
Glad you are back! So many reactors say they get goose bumps when they react to PTX. Because most of their videos are shifting up-close boxes, there is an intimacy I don’t find in other videos, which results in heightened emotion, which can lead to goose bumps. Maybe?? Just my opinion.
I agree with Rachelle that you need to react to Avi's solo work, over 90% of which is original. "Change on the Rise" is the first song he released once he was legally allowed to put out his own music in March 2019, and that video is the one most reactors start with. However, I think you should see and hear what he's been up to much more recently, and check out this live studio version of his original "When I'm a Fool", which was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound in Los Angeles several months ago, with some of the best studio musicians in that area. And no, he's no longer doing a cappella. He's a fantastic songwriter/lyricist. ua-cam.com/video/LE24UTH3pmQ/v-deo.html
Avi was with the group from 2011 (winning the Sing Off competition with PTX) until May 2017,, when he left the group amicably. His bass replacement Matt Sallee joined PTX later that year, and has been with them since. This is an old song prior to Avi leaving, so no, this is not a new video.
AVI IS AMAZINGGG

Royals and Gold are 2 of my all time favorite PTX videos! 🤗 💞
Not to mention Avi, you can tell from the others that they're almost kids, lol (2013). They received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week.
I felt so silly once I realised haha I thought it's just because I was gone for a few months and maybe they look a bit different

@@shilohauraable I refer to the DESCRIPTION under this video ua-cam.com/video/QpsTBzNTY2k/v-deo.html , which explains everything

your opinion is always welcome ☺️ I think you might be onto something here 🤣
This is 9 years old.
Ok....will forget you're tripping ! 🤣
Recommend their cover of Can You Feel The Love Tonight. For a Kirstie lead, recommend their cover of My Favorite Things.
Welcome back and thx!
