還記得我兒子在一歲左右的時候被確診有腦腫瘤，原因是一場沒意識的嘔吐，到診所後醫生做了詳細檢查，最後發現有一個腦腫瘤。然後很快安排了手術去切除，後來腦科主診醫生說幸好發現得早，因為腫瘤幾乎要壓在視覺神經的位置。如果不是專業的診所醫生細心的檢查，後果會嚴重得多了。

我舊年六月開始左腳冇乜力，慢慢就行路愈來愈慢，hip位痛，左腳瞓覺抽筋，麻痺，睇gp和physiotherapist 都唔知點解，後來去咗Oxford JR Hospital A&E, 照咗兩次MRI, 發現T8-9 spinal core內有tumor, 診斷為meningioma, 再照腦部，冇發現tumor, 轉去神經專科，再安排做手術，今年頭已經切除tumor, 手術做咗八個鐘，組織拎去化驗結果為benign, 好彩。這邊的醫生和姑娘好好，專業及有愛心，感謝！

本人的表弟 30幾歲因腦纖維瘤已過世了，回想起來，當㧅病發時，頭痛，手腳無力，平衡力差，
之後，中風，認知力差，視力幾乎喪失，但有時又會恢復，最後不能自理，入住老人院，期間時好時變差；好時人很清醒，差時好似三魂唔見嘅遊魂咁，連拖鞋都唔識點著, 突然一日，頭劇痛至迷迷糊糊, 入院後昏迷至離世。
原來，頭痛喺一個警號，中風喺最後通牒嘅警告，可惜當初唔識，中風拖了一年先揾到個私家醫生找出病源，先至開腦做微創手術，但是，已經醫錯方向遲咗...

衷心多謝Dr Rex的分享，令我對這個病多些認識。
小女因發現腦內有良性腫瘤，年半前接受了開腦手術，但第二天顱內出血，要再做緊急手術止血，手術後總算能活下來，但至今她常抽筋，手腳又痳痺冇力，對冷熱知覺遲緩，平衡力差，不知她要到幾時才能康復？腦部神經腺會否重新長出來？現在只希望她的健康每天都有進步。

您好，你女兒的病情，本人也是過來人。這個Brain Tumor 真是兇險。在多倫多西邊醫院做完手術之後只剩半條人命，慶幸由ICU 轉去 Rehab Hospital, 我是在 Bridgepoint Hospital. 住了近兩個月，做 Physiotherapy ，有 cognitive, power class, balance class. 及自己勤度步。
現回家休養，其間回醫院 outpatient physio, 到於今有兩個月，除了間中有頭痛外，活動都大有進展。當然不能和病之前比較。要注意血壓，血糖，及糖尿。我要吃藥控制。有時間多些行公園。
這是小弟的親歷，祝安好。

認識有人一直都沒明顯病徵，但近年少運動後便出現明顯抽筋，腦癇等病徵，手術又怕有後遺，醫生說有中風和腦出血風險，一直猶豫應不應該做手術。
