Whenever I hear another one…I want to dance 💃🏻 along. Coke Studio Pakistan is so Incredible to me. I love “Turri Jandi”….please react to it. It’s nice if you can introduce more people to view this Incredible Season 15#. Love watching the Reaction with you all. N. California/ USA
That expression by the aunties does have a name in local lingo, it's called 'balaaein lena/le lu/le le/le li...', if balaaein means what I think it means, it means monsters/demons.. meaning, let me take your monsters/demons (in literal terms).. meaning, let me take your bad luck.
Missed u soo much the season has ended i hope u react to rest of the season it's an interesting season has mixed reaction ithink its good they r trying diff things also keeping in mind the global trend some people r critical as it has more of visual aspect but i like it they have to try something every season they have to move forward
Talking about Mughal art being out of place.. in a way it's totally not.. wedding celebration traditions, costumes/attire, jewellery, decor, food, even music (tappay) and dance.... Are all styled in traditions originating from Mughal times.. the regalia of Mughal influence dominates the embellishment of all aspects of the entire series of wedding events in Pakistan and most of northern India.
Hijras have had a lot more acceptance, respect, and recognition in Pakistan than in the past. The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act was passed in 2018. Since then, the progress has not been anywhere ideal but it certainly has inched forward!
This song is an affirmation of feminine worth in a male dominated society. All the don'ts are for women, so the women are finally saying maghron laa, like good riddance, no more. I am not taking this cultural and societal BS anymore. I Am, and enough for myself, and not worried anymore about what others dictate, or think about me. The celebration is of her self acceptance....

A Billi's musical knowledge, her intellect, and her insights are simply incredible. I could listen to her all day.
