Knowingly or unknowingly, you have inspired me with this 2 week philosophy. It hits me hard as it really feels achievable. But the main point is it gives a hope for someone like me to just get started and focus on work...
Mornings are such an undervalued time for productivity! Always do the hard things earlier in the day, when your mind and body are fresh. After many hours of work/life/whatever, finding the energy to hit the gym and make a healthy meal is hard. Having prepared the food earlier, or even better take 1 day a week and prep many meals, and getting the workout done before work, is like magic. I am planning to study engineering this fall, so I have started doing 1 hour of math reading every morning. I wish you all good luck in your endeavors. You owe it to yourself to become the best version of you.
Sleep.Really focus on getting enough sleep. Wind down and go to bed earlier if you are to get up earlier. I find the discipline in the evening after work is just as important. Look after your long term health, get the sleep, but add the discipline :)
I've been meaning to review a lot of applied math, computer science, stats, and machine learning on top of my full time systems engineering job. This is the type of advice I needed to get that little bit of extra momentum on top of my normal job duties. One thing I will avoid is multi-tasking, and I will take on one topic to review at a time.
i hope you never stop doing these types of videos. thank you alot for putting yourself forward the way that you do and i can atleast say for myself that i appreciate you so much. thank you for all the guidance and thank you a ton for changing my mindset and enabling me to truly believe that alot is possible in 2 weeks. i hope you can keep doing this very personal thing where you just go with the flow and yk just give the advice and theres no over the top editing and its very minimalistic and straight to the point. again thank you a lot.
I am up in the morning study college algebra, job hunting, and working out meal prep if that's what i have to do i usually finish by 10am or 11am. Now I have all the time in the world for anything else. pomodoro is the way to go i do 30min interval with 5 to 8 min break the breaks are push ups, breakfast, water. Never do i get on the phone that's an easy way to doom scroll. I am working on a capable moveable body not a body so big I can't run or move. All about the soldier physique and strength it can apply to any type of sport and you feel so good. Super easy to maintain workouts are so simple. mostly body weight or even all bodyweight if you so choose no need for a gym membership just a bedroom or the backyard and a street to run on. if you just aim for marine or seal BMI acceptance this is a very impressive physique to maintain and not the hardest eat good and healthy.
I'm studying Tagalog at the moment. It's an interesting and beautiful language, but I often feel hesitant to study it, because it's challenging. I notice, though, that if I do even just a little bit, it builds my familiarity in a small but significant way. And once I get through the pain barrier of starting, my brain adapts, and I can absorb myself in it. I even find myself experiencing a type of 'hyper focus'. So, simply starting is good, even if it's in a slightly haphazard way - just as it often is with me.
Hey, I have not checked this by myself but I saw a post on reddit, where a person said how to basically get more time in your day, like to find the time for your hobbies or studies or whatever. The person said that you need to write down the time you do something and the activity daily for like a week without changing your routine. At the end it might turn out that instead of spending like you thought 30 mins on Reddit or youtube you spent 2 hours, and so on with every single activity. Then just use this information to find the time for whatever you want to do. I think it should work for some really busy people who work 9-5 or have school or college like me. Time is always here guys, you just need to want to find it
When I drove to work this morning after a pretty good snow storm this weekend, I was a little surprised but not surprised that people were just shoveling driveways to get to work. I think we have too much on our plates.
It's amazing what you can fit in each day just by getting up a bit earlier. Lying there builds up poisons in your body and is self-defeating. Seize the day!
i am currently enrolled in an analysis class that i am not sure that i am qualified for, i am so hungry for it, do you have anytips? I am so hungry man, i want it, really want it. So motivated right now
I followed your 2 weeks advise in entire November month. But I slowely stopped following it and the grapth slowly started to decline. I will start to follow it again from now again ❤ Thanks You Sorcerer For Being My Reminder 😊
Love you Math Sorcerer, but I wish you'd quit repeating the trope about how "your mind is fresh in the morning", blah, blah, blah. No. No it is not. Not mine. That may work for you, but not everybody is you. I 100% am more alert, awake, and effective in the evenings. I can get more done by extending my day by staying up later, than by getting up earlier. And in truth, neither staying up later nor getting up earlier can be sustained *indefinitely* as the body has a physiological need for a minimum amount of sleep. I get - and agree with - basic principle of what you're saying, but the devil is in the details as they say.
sir i’ve been waking up at 3-4 am almost everyday and consistently working relentlessly for the past 7 months, pulled off 8-12 hours of studying on saturdays and sundays, I’m tired. I’m still far from being a decent student, what the hell am I doing wrong?
Why are you waking up at 3 and 4am dude? If youre not a very specific kind of person, youre shooting yourself in the foot. And depending on the work in question, time may not be as useful as a rested mind. What are you studying for?
@@2639theboss I’m studying maths, physics, and chemistry. I want to be better than everyone, and I strongly believe that to achieve something i must first deserve it therefore I must outwork everyone, and pushing myself to the limit ensures that, but no matter how hard I work I can’t seem to rise to the top :(
Own the morning. Just start, momentum will follow. Focus on one thing.
Math and self improvement go unexpectedly extremely hard!
True math does make you better especially when you struggle and keep going!
As said Pythagoras.

Continue to learn it dude, it'll be rewarding once your familiar with it...

Enjoying your book as reading material before lights out at night.
Are you in jail?
@@SVSVSAMOGVS LOL No. I meant I enjoy the book as an inspirational wind-down before I turn out the lights and sleep.
