Please post which AOC civilization you would like to see next. Also take this poll to have a say as to what content I will prioritize on this channel www.strawpoll.me/12076381
Great quality videomaking... You're well organized, and I'm intaking all the information well. Looked this up cuz Zero didn't have a Mayan vid, glad you do! See a lot of Spirit of the Law inspiration. Will look forward to more, and hope your channel can grow!
I really appreciated this video! A very informative one, from 1v1 to team games, with strength, weaknessess and also how to play the civ (your explanation was actually awesome) with a bit of influence from Spirit Of The Law videostyle (i liked that too)! Also, this video looked like it had a ton of work behind it, good job! TL;DR: awesome video, i (we) want more videos like this!!
Nice straightforward guide. Really helped me learn why my archer rush was slow (I wasn't drushing to harass) and why my castle aging wasn't that good either (4:27, no walls). I have to try out that team bonus!
Outstanding quality and information, Nobody, a great video and strategy guide overall!! I would love to see much more of these. I cannot recall when exactly did T90 said that Spirit of the Law's civilization overviews were great, but not meant for competitive gameplay, and I think if you begin a strategy guide series on AoE2 civilizations, you could fill a much needed gap for the community as a whole! Do you plan to make competitive strategy overviews for every civilization, including the ones from the Forgotten, African Kingdoms and even Rise of the Rajas? That sounds like a ton of work, but hey, I think your passion for the game has been constantly shown in your channel :)
Yes I do but with the amount of work that goes into these it might take a few years. I will start w AOC civs first then work through AOF AOAK then AOR. Thanks for the kind words!
I'm using UA-cam for so many years now and never have I ever felt the urge to make an account, subscribe or comment on any of UA-cam's contents to show my support. But you, Sir, definitely pushed me towards it. I enjoy your content very much and I bet many others will also when they stumble upon it. As an educator I'm happy to see someone take some time out of their life to actively tutor others. Thank you for that :)
Thank you so much! It gives me a lot of satisfaction to know i can not only show others what a great game this is but to share it w everyone else as well! :)
Wow! PLEASE do more of these!! This was fantastic - as a longtime subscriber this has been a huge step up from your previous content (which was already really good). Although this video left me with a couple of queries; What is the significance of a "3 TC boom"? Also what other number of TC's would you likely see opposed to this? How many more TC's would you add upon reaching the Imperial Age? Something I personally struggled with is mining enough stone to afford a castle when I reach the castle age. How do you ensure you have enough stone when in the pocket position or doing a drush/fc/plumes? Thanks! P.S I would like to see Celts next!!
The 3 tc boom is standard for most civilizations i wanted to appeal to very new players that may not know this. It may be more significant that this civ does not really need to go to 4 bc really cheap army. If you are playing a food heavy civ like goths or persians you may want to go up to 4. No tcs in imp its way too late. For plum fc build it is 2 to stone in dark age, and add 3 or 4 more in feudal age. Celts would be fun!
after watching the video for the 5th time one thing came to my mind - trush. It's quite a popular strategy and you could say few words in future videos about trushing and defending against a trush, whether a given civ is good for a trush and whatever comes to your mind :)
If a civ is good at a trush i will mention it but the mayans dont get any trush bonuses so there is no reason to mention it like there is no reason to mention their scout rush (which doesnt exist). If you want to know about trushes, check out my coaching sessions w the strat
Pretty thorough guide, so good job! Was wondering if it's a viable strat to go eagles in feudal or castle on RotR as well? Also, in teamgames, it can also be useful to wall and boom into imperial eagles as pocket
Thanks nimanoe! I have only seen feudal eagles once by a pro when riut streamed it so have to go on my own opinion. The feudal eagle creation time is 1 min which is super slow. I would only go for them if a needed 1 or 2 to help counter skrims. You can however trick your oponent and wall and fc into eagles and destroy your opponents archers. As a pocket i would still go for plumms over eagles and i dont think i have seen a pro game yet (which is saying a lot) where the mayan pocket didnt go for plumms. Prob too risky to let the flank die. That is prob more common for aztecs since they dont even get plumms (although in AOR they can go eagles in castle age).
Age of Empires Coach if you're talking about ara pocket I totally agree, but on some other maps (like nomad, BF, LN) I would say that going eagles is the better option
yeah there was a 120k tourney a year ago and there will be a nations cup in the summer. check out some expert games on this channel to see some of the pros :)
Maybe its just because iam to noobish, but i noticed that doing a eagle flush can also be effective because ppl expect you to use archers. you can then make a transitions to archers if he builds swordsmen. I think mayas are good for beginners cuz they are simple. You only have 2-3 units but you can do pretty much everything with them
Well, then again Eagles get killed by Scouts, Archers and even Villagers, and could be easily kept away by walls and the only units they kill are Skirms, so massing Eagles mid-Feudal is better than going for them in early Feudal.
this is what i came for; short quality videos
Glad you liked!

my favorite civilization :)

OOOH! I like this sorta re-branding , looks good and your content is great! Next do Spanish or Italians please .
I think a rebranding was necessary also. Thanks!
Great stuff Nobody!
Thanks!
This is the best AOE strategy guide in the INTERNET. waiting for more. Huns maybe?
Huns will be one of my first 5. I will have 2 more coming out by the end of the summer
Good, good! Can't wait :)

Age of Empires Coach
if you're talking about ara pocket I totally agree, but on some other maps (like nomad, BF, LN) I would say that going eagles is the better option
nimanoe official acronym is AoR :)
Age of Empires Coach - Nobody I've done eagle rush before, have to go two barracks and then you have same production speed of scouts
I recently started playing AoE again after several years and was surprised about how competitive the game got
yeah there was a 120k tourney a year ago and there will be a nations cup in the summer. check out some expert games on this channel to see some of the pros :)
Age of Empires Coach - Nobody I will, thanks! Glad to see the game is still popular. Most games from my childhood were forgotten long ago.
3:00 where?
Yeah i didnt put it in the description lol. I will add it and you can click on the top right card on the video screen. It should pop out

Nice Video! Can you do a Strategy Guide for the Aztecs? :)
I sure can! They are fairly simple like the mayans so may be a priority as i get better at these
where I was, ready to subscribe to this new channel, then I realized that was nobody41 11
how about the Slavs
i will go through the AOC civs first bc of popularity. 2 guides coming out in August
Goths please and thank you
AOE COACH may I have your email to discuss coaching?
John Salisbury send a request via steam in description
Byzantines :) never sure what's best for them
I was thinking Byz. Their forward skirm spear rush is one of my favorites!
Oooh sounds interesting :)
