Hey dude. I hope you do more PT Cruiser video on your web site. But any way I have a 2007 PT Cruiser myself but my PT has problems with my PT overheat & need motor mount & transmission mount. But right now it just stay in the garage but I would like to get it back on the road again. I'm calling from Houston Tx
Good idea. i might do a motor engine mount replacement video as mine also needs to be replaced soon. the lower mount is a common replacement with these vehicles and it's not difficult. mine got hot only once on a hot summer day, only one time out of 4 years ownership. i found it had air pocket trapped in the coolant passage of the engine. i got the air bled out from the system and it took additional coolant after the air was bled out. thanks for commenting as i think a mount replacement video would be a great idea
Great video overall. Clean presentation too. You should write out the steps in the description, including the prep and tools (all stands, jacks required as well.)
Derryl Ballard thanks its not too bad for a DIY. Here in Canada in the rust belt I needed some spray penetrate fluid but a few basic tools and Jack-stands makes it do-able. Only 2 bolts per shock. Thanks for watching :)
sometimes i use a wired or cordless impact but overall i do alot of things by hand, especally when its time to torque the fasteners, i like use a torque wrench and/or by hand. using power tools is great for disassembly but for reassembly things need to be torqued to a certain parameter. thanks for watching
The job looks easy enough but It would have been good if you told us the socket size the bolt size are? Just so we could be prepared..I have to remove a couple from my buddy's but I don't have a lot of tools and he has none lol I have a crappy little set of sockets so he might have to go by another socket or a cheap new set lol
im trying to remember, might find size info online. i think the bolts were 15mm and i think the nuts were 18mm. cant remember. somewhere between 15-21 mm should suffice. definately get yourself a socket set if you work on stuff much. thanks for watching :)
I was wondering if you fixed the front hub replacement problem! I noticed when you put it back together you place the right assembly on the left and the left on the right, making brake caliper on back side instead of front.

Pro trick : you can watch movies at InstaFlixxer. Been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.

Use your power tools on the shock bolts.
