Hyperia Is Being Sorted | THORPE PARK | Update June 21st 2024

- Hyperia has had a tough start in the last 4 weeks and I've avoided news article just because I want to share the next stage progress where the trains are now off the track and being put into the lorries and being put in safe hands and then the park engineers can find out what has cause the situation in recent days that has made the ride delayed for guests.
This update is to show you that Hyperia is into the next stages where we all can find out soon when the ride could reopen from Thorpe Park social platforms, but personally it's just a speculation.
Just remember that Health and Safety is the parks number 1 priority to be sure that everything is all good to reopen to guests during the operational Merlin business season.
I hope this update was useful but let's all think of the good times once it re-opens and express the joy together.

Dom thank you for everything you do with the updates as you see and film whats happening while making your visits, greatly appreciated, people need to stay positive, get off your back and be patient, Hyperia is the best ride in the UK hands down, it is not the first new ride to have teething issues, most of them do when they first open, (Voltron, Saw, stealth, Smiler list goes on) its a fact of rollercoaster life, with highly technical things that are both mechanical master pieces and first concepts and Software driven with loads or unique to the ride coding and sensors, I get this with work, custom coded, works fine for days, weeks or months then suddenly stops working and needs resetting or code adjustment for a very minor issue for a particular circumstance at that particular moment. Anyway best ride in the UK and people need to get behind it and be patient, Thank you Dom……..

Keep up your great enthusiasm and love for Hyperia and the park, and thank you for the content you do. sadly this world has to many people that demand to know everything at all times and then feel this need to be rude about it. do your best to ignore such people as I (and I hope the majority) think you do great!
Good to see this especially when there's little to no updates anywhere else.
Hyperia is back open tomorrow but running one train will mean crazy queues. Fingers crossed it runs with no issues.. 👀

It was always gooing to valley at some point. Better to get it out of the way now so the engineering team know what caused it and how to deal with.and prevent it happening again. Its always going to take longer the first time. I hope this and other issues dont take anything away from what is a spectacular ride.
Great to hear you had a fantastic time at download to. Feel sorry for you with people going on at ya about Hyperia course we don’t know nothing about it it’s up to the park and the engineers they will tell you but then they won’t as they don’t want it to spread rumours about it on what’s wrong with it but yeah. You'd have thought Mack would have another way of sorting a valleyed coaster train. This is ridiculous. The previous downtime is just about excusable due to it being a new ride but this is embarrassing for all involved.
Yeah, crazy they weren't more prepared for this.
This is how they always retrieve valleyed trains, whoever the manufacturer!
@@AdrenalineRush236 Commonly, not always. Even so they should have seen that it was likely to happen given that it had nearly stalled previously and had a plan in place to sort it in a day.

I'm not being funny here, but if this happened at Alton Towers everyone would be absolutely slating the place, but because it's Hyperia, everyone's like, "Awww,she'll be fixed soon. It's an absolute joke, the best part of 20 million quid, and it's embarrassing tbh. I hope they do fix all the issues soon.
Disappointing for me an my daughters as we went for 2 days on 19th an 20th stayed in hotel ride vallied on morning we arrived never got on it and been told not entitled to free return visit as we stayed on hotel we met you in the shop on the 20th in the dome
I think it's had its day and it need to R.I.P. Better luck next Thorpe park keep going strong and the next roller coaster will be better and everyone would of forgotten Hyperia

Said this loads of times this coaster been rushed and not been thought through get rid of it cut your losses it's never gonna last more than 2 days without breaking very bad design
