i used to watch your videos all the time back in 2016! randomly remembered watching your videos and looked you up! i’m so glad to see youre still making videos ♥️♥️
My grandson is now 29. When he was little-around6-8 he was playing a video game of playing a guitar. He thought he was going to be a rock-n-roll star 😊 SO I made him a 3 foot red guitar. I had no idea what I was doing so I bought a plastic blow up guitar balloon to use as a model. lol 😂 it took me 3 days to complete but the joy learning from nothing was wonderful & everyone loved it! So fun 🤩 love your Creative genius!!!❤
I made my daughters first birthday cake! It was winne the pooh themed, 2 tiers, top tier was a bee hive liked you'd see hanging from a tree. It had all the characters, Rabbit had a garden with some vegetables and Eeyore even had his house. It took me so long but everyone loved it 🥰
It was so much fun watching you research the appearances of each planet, so that you could replicate them. For lots and lots of years in science classes, I helped students remember the order of the planets with the mnemonic “My very eager mother just served us nine pizzas.” Last year, I returned to substitute for a science teacher who was on maternity leave and discovered that since Pluto has been relegated to dwarf planet status, the mnemonic has been switched to “My very eager mother just served us nachos.”
This is so stinkin' cute!!! It's the most darling space cake I've ever seen! Your talents constantly blow me away! Thank you for sharing them with us! 😍🥰
I love how you sit there and talk about it and then cuts into you making it and then talk again! So different from how everyone does it basically the same. You really connecting with you’re audience! Get it lady! You’re so pretty!
We always always always try to think of our community first. We built how to cake it for and WITH all of you so it's important to us that you're enjoying what we are creating for your learning, inspiration and entertainment!
That's an adorable cute cake creation kids have great imaginations about going into space and discovering the wonders of the universe. It's a fun and creative cake that helps kids reach for their dreams. Lots of love and blessings.
I made a Neopolitan Cake for one of my nephews birthdays. Took a day to do it because I wanted it to be perfect taste wise and in presentation. He and his friends loved it!
I made both my son's first birthday cakes. The most complicated one I've ever made was replicating your Pokeball cake for my oldest son's 15th birthday. It took both me and my husband to accomplish it!
I've made all 3 of my son's birthday cakes.... 1st he had a fresh prince themed cake, 2nd was a rotating car rim for his " 2 fast 2 curious" themed party, and his 3rd was construction themed cake.
Your cakes are beautiful. For my nephew's first birthday, I made a 3 tier jungle themed cake and next month for his 3rd birthday, I'm planning of making Mercedes G Wagon Cake.
I made cakes for my 1st born child from her monthly milestone until now, she is turning 4 this July 😊 The hardest cake I have made was the BTS cake, it was a gift for my niece. By the way, I am always watching your videos since the watermelon era 😁 I am a fan from Philippines ☝️
I’m born on Halloween and every year for my birthday my mom uses a 3D pumpkin mold to make me a cake. It never turns out perfect but it’s made with love ❤
Such a stunning cake. I love space. 🌌🚀I need to make myself a simple version of the cake for my 40th birthday in July. The first cake I made my kiddo was Candy Land themed. She loved all things colorful. Nowadays its Stitch or Roblox. She definitely gets set on a specific thing as she ages.
I ordered my kid’s first birthday cake - it was before I learned how to cake it. It was sheep themed because I did let her pick! The hardest one I ever made was Pokémon - a two tier Pikachu and Eevee cake with ears of gum paste and cute faces.
Great cake, and very cool! My friend and I made a Minnie mouse cake for my youngest daughters 2nd Birthday! Made homemade marshmallow fondant. Wasn't too bad. 🥰
I made my child's first birthday cake. It was a white sheet cake with cake baby blocks in pastel colors. Also, pastel decorations and writing. The hardest cake I ever made for my child was a Dr. Who was Tardis.
I love your cake ideas and videos at that, but you've made amazing characters from movies and tv shows except for Shrek, can you make a Shrek themed cake?
I made all my son’s birthday cakes. I’m not very talented at cake decorating, but he loved them. Hardest one I did was a Barny cake. His face is weirdly asymmetrical. I thought Barny would be easy, but boy was I wrong. 😂 Edit: Barny is a purple dinosaur if you aren’t familiar. He was really popular with pre-school kids in the 90’s. Not sure if he’s popular anymore honestly.
Some of the hardest cakes I made were a Frozen castle cake and a Canada goose cake (for my daughters) but the best one was inspired by your fault line galaxy cake for my son. It also featured the paw patrol pups because he was 4 🤷🏻♀️😂
Hey Yolanda and everyone at how to cake it 👋 I love your channel so much 😍 My son is also turning 1 with the same out of space theming for his party! So this video is really helpful as I’m making his 1st birthday cake 🎂 is it okay if I could ask some questions ? Could someone please help me! Thank you!
This isn't an old video at all! This is brand new. I made it earlier this month but with interview and editing it just took a few weeks before launching it!
I always make a birthday cake for my daughter 😊 She turns 5 this year and she wants a cake in the shape of a yellow Super Mario cube with a question mark 😄 I hope it will turn out as good as the previous cakes. I made a cake in the shape of a pineapple (not as nice as yours, but I tried), Baby Shark cake, My Little Pony cake and a doll cake) 🥰
How special!! She is so lucky to have her mom make her birthday cake every year. For the cube please check out last weeks video when I make the Lego cake. So tips in there for sharp edges!! Lots of chilling and icing layers
@@HowToCakeIt The Hedgehog cake using Cadbury's chocolate fingers for spines. Several Godzilla cakes, and I made a beautiful Lady Baltimore cake which made both my husband and the birthday boys ill, because I didn't cook the frosting properly ;(
I made your chocolate chips cookie cake for the youngest, that came out so well. Probably amongst my most ambitious efforts. That and having to slam together a cake for a wedding reception with both buttercream and fondant (because it was travelling). Not at all fancy, luckily, hippies were involved. Fondant, huh.
I made my sons first birthday cake, Thomas the Tank engine. It was his obsession at the time. I got a Thomas pan and made it chocolate, and followed the icing guide to make it look like Thomas.
hardest bday cake I made for my kids: my oldest - I made a strawberry cake from Sugar Geek's recipe. It turned out great but it was A LOT of work! For our youngest's first birthday she got my trusty chocolate cake and it was much easier
Hi Yolanda! Was the paint edible? I’m really interested in painting cakes but I don’t know how to go about it/ how to get a good safe paint. Or is it that we paint only parts people won’t eat?
Hi. I have been following you for years now from D. R. Congo (Africa) and I love your work . My daughter is turning 9 this June and I am kindly asking if, you can make a ZELDA cake to inspire me please. Cause I have no idea how to even start. 😔
Hmm good question... I think it depends what city you are in. But I would think $500 is bare minimum. Between $500 and $1200 most likely depending on the cake artist you hire and where they are based.
So whenever i make a complicated cake and people say, 'It looks amazing, that must've taken all day' i always reply 'Oh, it was nothing', even though the cake that takes me 2-4 days to make caused me major procrastination. 😅
I know!! She did have her mom sitting with it in the backseat but it was not properly secured and the car was not cold enough so the cake slid. I do NOT miss delivering cakes! Definitely one of the most stressful parts of caking
What cakes have you made for the kids in your life?!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
#2🎉
If i were to have kids maybe under the sea cakes or a fantasy cake if my kids want to be a writer or author
Made my granddaughter a Paw Patrol tower
My sister and I made the duck cake from Bluey for my girls’ party last year. And another year we made Doc McStuffins Dr bag as a cake.

He LOVED it. The used the top tier - the moon as a smash cake
