- This was the third time moose tried to get rid off the dog by swimming over the lake.

Had to laugh when I saw the dog - it looked like a Norwegian Elkhound! Hunting moose is what they are bred to do :-D! They follow and harass the moose, dancing around it and barking until the hunters (which I assume there were none...) catch up and make the kill. But moose are their traditional target, so no wonder the dog was so persistent.
Yes he is Norwegian Elkhound. It wasn't hunting season yet. I was just training my dog.
As much as I loved seeing this video of this cow and calf, I felt it was ruined by all the messy panning in and out and all over the place.
You dont need video lessons like so many say. You experienced this when so many haven't. YOU WIN! ❤

Moose good at swimming n known to eat grass under water. They can dive tho

I hesitate to respond to an "Idiot", but the dogs were loose and breed to chase down elk and other large Bovinves.!!!...They were stressing the calf and cow excessively!!....ps.. I rescued an orphaned tiger whose mother died and raised it as a Love of Mine!.....They are a "top" predators and If I let Her "loose" , She might "EAT" a dog!!! ......
