Had a very similar final exfil experience on one game. Except, unlike you, I didn't manage to exfil. Final was at the port, on the stern of the docked ship. AI like pissed off fire ants. Ended up falling off the dock into the water and couldn't swim back to a ladder in time. Choices were drown or choke out.
Always a great watch! I love that you've gotten into DMZ too, I think it's the new wave. First it was PubG and everyone trying to BR format their games. But I think DMZ sets itself apart from other exfil games and creates a new lane that others will soon be clamoring to get in.
Dmz is like an arcade lite version of extraction mode… I don’t think the devs are capable of making it like a real hardcore extraction mode like other games. There is plenty of room for improvement but they only cater to casual players.
@Pharaoh1257 ....And? I know a lot of people seem to have a problem with that, but not everyone is a nolife or sweat. TBH, all games should cater to the casual player. They're the ones who lifted this industry off the ground. Content creators and hard-core minority demographics shouldn't be the vocal majority. That's the Beaty of freedom of choice of play.

Snipers are the most ridiculous way to play and you get whole try hard squads like these guys running full sniper games and working together refusing to play with randoms or join up with others. They would cry and rage quit if they had to play with randoms and got merked by three guys sniping them. Guarantee they all would be crying about "campers," because they already do. But they don't say shit when they do it, do they? They literally push near spawns each match too, intentionally trying to snipe new guys who likely won't have good gear and doing so from range. Where they know they are mostly safe. If you rush near spawns like that you're either a try hard or someone sweaty and hurt because you've been killed a thousand times over by the same.
Literally none of these guys play without each other because they know their sniping tactics is the only reason they keep winning fights and games. Not to mention running the best assault rifles in game. They want every unfair advantage they can possibly get but somehow that makes them good and creative?

Once I got fight against 4 team in Satiq. its free for all 20 min long fight
Im the only survivor from our team, getting hunted but managed to survive
after gas expanding, I managed to circle back and revive my team
we run through final exfil in quary.
and managed to get last exfil in last second, except for 1 guy.

I love the slow strategic fights in DMZ. The other day I spent a good 10 minutes doing a super wide flank on this team and ended up behind them. They had no idea! Took down all 3 by myself in seconds that way. It's so much more satisfying to me than Warzone for that reason.
It feels even better solo whipping a team. The other day I took out two whole teams in one match. Made my day.

DMZ just feels way more realistic and tactical and you actually have to worry about dying it’s really fun
I find warzone unplayable unless you have mates with mics. Randoms just quit when they lose their gulag, never drop in the same spot, or stay together and even when they do have a mic then spend half the time breathing down it like they are living in an iron lung
Stod needs to chill a little, but loving this DMZ trio. Will be following your progress through season 2 for sure

DMZ very cool, especially with the AI thrown in the mix, in some ways it's a bit harder which is good, because lot's more wants to kill you & me personally I'm addicted to it now. The only thing that get's me furious is when you're at the exfil & you get whacked by another team, losing everything!!!! 😂 but that's what it's all about right? glad I've returned the favour now and then!, awesome game mode, luv it ✌

DMZ fights in a nutshell: You sit on roof and shoot at glint. Your enemy sits on his roof and shoots at glint. Rinse/repeat. Occasionally pull out the spotter's scope because you're too much of a woman to look through your scope.

Only thing I don't like about DMZ is that plea for help. I died multiple times trying to save them but their teammates end up killing me. This feels like something Stone would do.
i tried to loot the enemy i killed and he joined my team even tho i didnt accept him in :_: happend many times. its awkward as hell going to yoink stuff from their dead body and suddenly they pop back up and join the team. its weird idk how they do it

there are many reasons why DMZ is better that BR. One of them and the MAJOR of all in my view, is that we play against 22 teams and not 50+. where we get third partied constantly. That was the problem since verdansk and in my opinion that was the reason of campers being everywhere.

Can someone tell me the benefit of ensuring your bag is full? Is there a bonus for that or is it for a mission?
It’s part of a mission
You complete missions to unlock “insured weapon slots”..
If you die in the DMZ with your insured weapon, there is a 2 hour cool down period before you can use that insured slot again
If me and my 2 homies play DMZ, we go to take down as many squads as possible, and then we finish our mission. It's honestly a REALLY easy game.
Oh deff better fights i love it it means more then just a win 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 even if i dont exfil i generally have a good time and know that the enemy will only have my chimera for 2 days 😂😂

Love DMZ except to many AI shooting through walls and spawning in middle of a fight against real players. Ut what is the worst and im supriesed no one is talking about is how loot spawns change after what your current mission is. When i go after AI radios i suddenly get one spawning after a kill 1 in 20 AI kills at best. But if remove the mission from active then every 3 AI i kill spawns a Radio(uav). And this is just one example. The loot you need at a point then suddenly gets exstremely more rare to find..... I hate slow down stuff like this. Im so tired of them controlling everything in this game. Just another thing they do.....

Love your vids Stone amazing content. All you're proving is that Warzone needs to be more realistic more hardcore. It's to much arcade. It's missing a sense of danger and risk it should make people think... should I do this instead of relying on self revives killstreaks and all the BS gadgets. Those things should be scarce very hard to come by.
I don't even touch warzone 2 because how disappointing it is
DMZ is BS unless you 3 stack.
While there are some fun fights to be had, great snipes to clip, and intense 3 vs 6 moments, DMZ fights are typically just annoying and one sided. This coming from someone who is relatively high into the tiers for the missions and typically gets good streaks going with plenty of player kills. It isn’t challenging to fight people who have no shields or just snipe from super far away with no incentive to move. Combine this horrible inequality of equipment with people fighting AI or trying to do a stupid mission, DMZ fights usually just feel tiring even if your the one winning. In my opinion, the people who are usually super aggressive aren’t very good at PVP which leads me to believe that most people seeking fights in DMZ are just not good at warzone and so they play DMZ where this mismatch happens.
They either need to lean into PVP or AI fights/missions. Right now it’s this awkward half and half where you can’t ignore the aimbit bullet sponge AI enemies to kill actual players and losing all your gear is just more a waste of time versus actually feeling like you lost anything in reality. It is very easy to get fully kitted up again. I think either some system like in the game The Division is needed where killing other players makes you “hunted” to discourage random killing of squads doing a mission or reduce the AI stats/numbers a bit with maybe a system to be able to stow equipment to bring back with you after extract.
While I love WarZone 2.0 with all its flaws and have over 80 wins, I hope they don’t push DMZ into just WarZone with AI and no gas. Hopefully influencers like Stone don’t encourage people to go hog wild on every team they see in DMZ and push the player base into always just chasing and killing everyone they see. DMZ needs to be its own mode with different goals and fights that feel different to just an extended first circle of Warzone. Just my opinion on everything.

The last DMZ match I had, my team mates joined the first squad we ran into, so 5 v me. I managed to escape but 5 minutes later they grabbed a bounty and it was me. Absolutely stupid design.
