Hi Michael, yes it’s been a horrible Summer for extreme heat here in New Jersey. We’re expected to hit around 100 degrees tomorrow, then drop to the 70s the next day. I keep hoping we are finished with this hot weather but not yet! 🥵
The Scarlet Ribbons appeals to me most, but 🐰🐰🐰. They wouldn’t stand a chance.
I like each of the colors - especially because each one is so different from the other three. Yes, I plan on covering the Coreopsis with small wire cloches for the Winter to protect from hungry rabbits. I’ve only seen one rabbit this entire Summer. But I know they’re out there just waiting to make their move. 🤫🐰
Any good remedies for rabbit repellants? They procreate faster than perennials :-).
@@donnanorris4733 I mix neem oil with the hottest pepper extract I can find. It works well, but you’d have to spray it all the time because Coreopsis produces new buds so fast. I gave up and let them have it.
