TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE: If your first scripts don't work is often one of the following issues: - You forgot a semicolon at the end of a line (or added one too much). - Your script file name is not the same as the class name. If your script file is called AddConstantVelocity for example then the class line needs to look like this: "public class AddConstantVelocity : MonoBehaviour" - You accidentally removed the ": MonoBehaviour" part from your script. You need that. - You did a different spelling mistake somewhere. Autocomplete in your script editor doesn't work or it claims that "GetComponent" doesn't exist: - Completely close your text editor and reopen it by double clicking the script in Unity. - Make sure you're not missing the top part of the script (using System.Collections; / using UnityEngine; etc.) - If nothing helps uninstall your script editor and manually download Visual Studio Community. During the download process make sure to check the "Game Development with Unity" package. Always have a close look on the console and see if you can make sense of the error messages that show up there. Usually they point you into the right direction or give you a line number where the error is probably located. For further assistance please join our community Discord and ask for help: discord.gg/Ye6zzfQ You can also double check if you made a mistake using the scripts from the Git repo: github.com/LooveToLoose/unity-tutorial Hope that helps! :)

@@candenizgumus5308 I think I was having the same problem, but I figured out how to fix it. What you have to do is open Unity. Then click on Edit then preferences. Once you are there click on external tools. At the top, it should say external script editor. Click on that then press browse. go to this pc, then your drive, program files x86. Once you are there find Microsoft Visual studio. From there go into 2019, Community, Common7, IDE. Then scroll down to the devenv. This should have to VS logo. Once you select that your code should say assembly C Sharp at the top. And IntelliSense should start working. Hope that helps :)

"Our ball flies away"
LMFAO
It does not recognise my GetComponent and also my rigidbody is not blue. What should I do
Acrillx same
Same problem here any solution ?
If it says miscellaneous files at the top then what I said to do should probably work.
@@scriptfox614 It works, thanks mate!
There is soo much to learn from this video not only for the beginners but also for the people with some experience like me who made 2 or 3 games by themself without following any tutorial, thanks for making this awesome video.
And how to make a button that makes transparent cubes normal?
Thank you so much. This sort of free content makes the world better. 2 years later and I just saw it and it's helped me, while also being concise and fun.

This tutorial was amazing! I myself used C# to make a few thing with just the text console, so some of these keywords might not stick in my head, but I can always come back here! Thank you for this, it was simple and easy to understand! -Just subscribed
Why i can't control sphere when i am playing the game can you plz guide
@@kashafuleman5353 See if the pinned comment helps.
This is probably the best short tutorial to start! Superb job Jonas
The whole coding thing isn't working for me at all even though I have tried it numerous times and have paid close attention to following all the steps. What is strange is that it isn't showing me the actions as it is with your program and I need to type it all in myself...can anybody help?
It’s called autocomplete and if it doesn’t work go to preferences > external tools > external script > editor > then change it to visual studio. And it is important that the tab underneath the script says assembly C sharp not miscellaneous.
Sorry for late
@@yazanibayah8404 Thank you for the response; I got it to work now!😄💪🎉
