The Hell of the North (County) chronicles the 8th edition of the Canyon Belgian Waffle Ride, the most unique cycling event in the country. This 140-mile bike race across San Diego County's terrain of rock, sand, gravel, mud, dirt and water crossings attracts the best cyclists in the world and a sold out crowd of amateurs wishing to just ride the demanding course as their heroes at the same time.
