There's no greater joy than watching European armed forces fighting. The combination of Swedish, German, Belgian, German, etc. armour and firearms looks amazing on screen.
Amen. Have you seen the latest mark 4 vehicles with 15 distinct specialist variants from APCs, IFVs, ambulances… to automated 120mm mortar carriers and fire support vehicles? A mature, continuously developed and battle proven platform. Have we suffered from some massive as yet uncovered kickback scandal? 🤦🏿🙏🏿🇬🇧

As Estonian it's fun to watch these videos, as our country doesn't really show off our vehicles. They show them like ones a year on a parade or something, or just in a military video, where they just stand and don't really do nothing. So it's cool to see them actually being used.
I'm confued, isn't all this stuff Danish or is it troops in Danish body armmour and vehicles? The weappons are danish aswell. Does the video just take place in Estonia? Is it just the CV90 thats estonian?
@@thesaddestdude3575 CV90’s are Estonian, and some trucks. Look at numberplates. The Danish have a crown like aymbol near their number plates, Estonians have on other hand EKV, and in similar combinations letters and then 3 numbers.
@@herptek Estonians plan on mixing the CV90EE’s with Type-x unmanned tanks, eliminating the need for MBT’s, adding mobility, speed, for an lower cost. Also the Estonian climate and geography doesn’t really allow for MBT’s. Even currently, there’s difficulty moving around in the APC’s and IFV’s in Estonia, and that’s mostly only on roads. When the Russians would invade, they too would also have to stick to roads, and will be ambushed by the ligth Estonian forces built mostly upp on AT technology and tactics/strategy. Because if the soft and swampy Estonian lands, the small military budget, and the small but smart population, there is just no need for MBT’s. Almost wished Sweden (yes my country :-) started to make tanks again... Leopard 2 is a good tank, but I think with some Swedish engineering we could make something better actually... CV90 is awesome especially the latest version (with BAE involvement ofc). Then we would have a MBT and IFCV and a great multi role airplane (JAS39 Gripen E) and good antitank (Robot 57 NLAW) and anti material (m/48 Carl Gustaf). And for artillery the Archer system ofc! It would make us more self sustained and if purchased by NATO and allies a good defense!
Well somtimes backing off sideways is actually better if you are far enough away, the reason is how bullets fall and skip, if you move sideways you are much harder to hit as if you reverse straight back you can still be hit as you remain within the enemy cone of fire. And if there is sufficient cover in the direction you are reversing to it can be beneficial aswell. You have to remember it takes seconds for armoured vehicles rounds to impact its target at the ranges they are expected to be fighting. Although trying as best you can to keep the front forward is ofcourse important in fights that take place in open terrain. Althoguh since they are IFVs they will probably end up in urban/suburban combat anyways.
ANOTHER THING, THE VEHICLES SHOULD BE ABLE TO ATTACK WITH LONG RANGE MISSILES TO SUPPRESS COUNTER ATTACK , ALSO ANTI AIRCRAFT DEFENSES, i'LL PUT ALL KINDS OF OFFENSIVE-DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES ON EACH VEHICLE, ROBOTS TO DETECT MINES, DO RECON IN MULTI SPECTRAL FIELDS
The three cv90 in the clip would have sorted the situation in real life...sorry...and with company of some of their more specialiced brothers it would have been total mayham...
The Phillipines can barely afford wages and career progression for its troops and officers let alone equip them with the most basic small arms not the hand-me-downs from the 60s and modern functioning equipment as Marawi proved their lack of capability, shit they even ran out of ammo there, so how the fuck are they going to afford modern European vehicles such as the CV90, Talagang locoloco ka, gamitin ug utak mo!

There is no danish manufacturing of armour.
Heard alot about the cv 90 great combat vehicle
If only British MOD had invested in this Platform instead of GD Ajax SV.

There we are. Combat Vehicle 90. Watch it and weep.
Cavalry/Light Armor doesn't wait for an attack! Prepare secondary and tertiary positions, 'range in' non-obvious landmarks, confirm logistics & comms. Prep grunts to deploy.
Act, don't ever wait.

Kind of, but even the 120 variant does not fill the role of a true tank. Its all about fulfilling roles!
