What do your big ten standings for 2024 look like?
Here's my standings prediction:
1. Ohio State: 11-1 (8-1) , Conference Champs
2. Oregon: 11-1 (8-1), Runner Up
3. Michigan: 10-2 (8-1)
4. Penn State: 10-2 (7-2)
5. Iowa: 9-3 (7-2)
6. USC: 8-4 (7-2)
7. Rutgers: 8-4 (6-3)
8. Wisconsin: 7-5 (5-4)
9. Nebraska: 8-4 (5-4)
10. Indiana: 7-5 (4-5)
11. Minnesota: 6-6 (4-5)
12. Maryland: 6-6 (3-6)
13. Washington: 5-7 (3-6)
14. Illinois: 5-7 (3-6)
15. Michigan State: 4-8 (2-7)
16. UCLA: 3-9 (1-8)
17. Purdue: 3-9 (1-8)
18. Northwestern: 3-9 (0-9)

I defiently agree with that, I don't think they can go much worse than 7-5 with the defensive talent, I'm picking the floor for them.
They can easily go 11-1 to be honnest. they play nobody

The thing is, if they fire James Franklin, I would expect Penn State to fall off.
I'm kind of in the middle about USC, they got some offense but let's be real that D won't be fixed overnight. I'll say around 6 or 7 wins.
Edit: Agree with Oregon to an extent. They are good yes but as history as proven they have a hard time in key games.
They've never had a coach like Dan Lanning and recruited at a top 5 level like they are now. There NIL Money is out of this world aswell.
USC could easily be a 6 or 7 win team, and I wouldn't be surprised. I don't expect them to stay down, though.
@@TotallyTmanCFB same here, it's USC so yea they'll be back it'll just take work. It took a Heisman Trophy level QB just to get USC to a bowl game last year so goes to show the road that D has to face.
As one who lives here in Oregon we think it's just a matter of if they can beat Ohio state and the wolverines
Michigan State is not going 7-5 in my opinion because their schedule is brutal to me

@gavinwhitacre9145 Oregon loses at Michigan, That's the perfect trap game for Oregon, and it will be a tough cold weather game on the road.
@@TotallyTmanCFB i disagree that it’s a trap game, they wouldn’t be looking ahead to anything they play maryland the next week, and if they lose to osu they would have to win out to be able to make the big 10 chip depending how other chips fall
I think Rutgers is going to be really really good too.

@@TotallyTmanCFB Iowa has one of the top defenses in the country and performed better than anyone against last year's Michigan team. They have damn near their whole team back, plus multiple competent QBs and an O-line that was lacking last year. If the offense has a pulse, there aren't 5 games they will lose on their schedule. The only given one is Ohio State and that one isn't even a given since no one knows what Lester's offense will look like.
@TenaciousStudent Michigan had closer games against Maryland and Rutgers, lol. They didn't perform better than "anyone" against Michigan last season, they won a bunch of one possession games and I really don't think they have another double digit win season, maybe 8 or 9 wins, but I think they lose to Iowa State and they lose to Nebraska and/or Wisconsin aswell as a slip up somewhere because they always have slip up games and they aren't beating Ohio State. I think they lost 4+ Games. I don't trust the QB room either. Luke Lachey is a great tight end, though, so he gives them more potential offensively. No more easy big ten west division for Iowa either.
@@TotallyTmanCFB Uh, I was talking about Iowa’s defense. If you followed the comment as written, that was pretty clear. Your argument for Iowa losing is no more B1G west and you state B1G west teams will beat them. Doubtful. Nebraska has a freshman qb that won’t face a defense like Iowa’s. Wisconsin hasn’t proven anything and is completely shifting their style of play. They are easily another year out. I know Iowa State’s team probably better than you do and I personally doubt they beat Iowa. Washington has had way too much turnover to be that good. Iowa also hosts Iowa state, Washington, Wisconsin, and Nebraska at Kinnick. That is quite the home field advantage. Ohio State will be early on the schedule, so maybe a sliver of a chance. Iowa’s offense won’t be gifting short fields, turnovers, and points to the opponent like candy either. 2/3rds of their team is quite proven. If healthy, there is not a guarantee that anyone will beat Iowa on their schedule, even if Ohio State in the Shoe feels pretty close to one.

Michigan wins minimum of one of the 3 big games, hopefully we win all 3 tho, also usc ain’t keeping up with michigan either
@michiganhypelights I think they get Oregon later in the season at home, I think they are going to have some struggles offensively through the first 4-5 games, I don't have great expectations for the passing game.
Rutgers, IND, Minnesota, MSU will all do worse than PURDUE

They have the best cornerback in the country Will Johnson and the best pair of defensive tackles in the country Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant, they have all American tight end Colston Loveland and Donavon Edwards at Running back. Maybe the offense somehow sucks and they have no passing game, but the defense returns a bunch of depth front last season and Elite players. Even if their offense is outside the top 100 they have a top 10 defense, and are a 6-7 win team MINIMUM, 5-7 makes no sense. Who in the world are they losing to other than Oregon Ohio State Texas, maybe Washington maybe USC, but WHO is beating them. Like what...
@@TotallyTmanCFB their schedule is tough. For example they have to play my Texas Longhorns in week two they have to play Oregon which won’t be easy although it’s at home they have to play USC, Washington on the road and so on.
@minaeldiwany3215 Okay, that's 4 teams. Where are they getting 7 losses? Are they losing to Michigan State that has a new head coach and only won 4 games last season? Are they losing to a borderline bowl team in Illinois with a head coach in the hot seat? Are they losing to Indiana with a new head coach and 800 new Transfers? Are they losing to a Northwestern team with no talent? Are they losing to a g5 Fresno State or Arkansas State at home?
