Funnily enough, Kurt wears goggles all the time (for some reason) so his eyes would be fine with the missing windscreen and Battle Spec with no windscreen
I just noticed but his car was still fully intact even after abandoning it in the Storm Realm. It was just the windshield and tires (which were replaced) that was all damaged. Vert was right, these cars can really take punishment.
@@kyleyuen245 that's definitely the only inevitable conclusion. And a pretty good one at that. Realm closings pack in so much heat I think that they're practically the only things that would've destroyed a 35 car if not with modifications. But then again the tires weren't indestructible tho, seen as with Esmeralda when she tripped on the mine spikes.
That's why the storm realm is probably my favorite realm of them all. It set back the human drivers so far because they lost thier 3 best vehicles inside it. That and it was probably just the most badass realm with all the purple storm clouds and lightning lol
@@codenameend3r526 technically they didn't lose the Plymouth. Taro just didn't want to use it after Porkchop came from all the way to whatever state he was in and brought him a new car. Also that whole schpeal was probably due to licensing so they couldn't have the Plymouth for longer than Ignition.
I admit, I appreciate that all the World Race drivers (except for Wylde, he presumably lost his in between) used their old cars, rather than having them replaced right away. Instead, having them wrecked in the Storm realm was good from a storytelling perspective to establish the realms and the drones as a LOT more dangerous than Highway 35 AND from the marketing standpoint, it gets the established characters into the new cars the show is trying to sell to kids watching.
@@checkitimawesome And as far as I know, those cars from HW35 can take heavy punishments. Then why did slingshot lost a wheel after a crash? Is it possible that it is the speed? Or did he modify it at the point that the car became dull?
@@checkitimawesome Can I ask? (Not related to this video) Is it possible that the racing drones used recon drones [like dan drendsen had (spy viewer)] to win in Fog Realm? I mean the spy viewer/ recon drone gives you the racing line of the track like in the fourth leg (ice part) and swamp realm.
I’d have to wonder which car actually had the most screen time. Going off my memory, I’d have to assume Bassline since it lasted so long and participated a lot before being lost the first time, to which it was rebuilt and then finally totaled. Chicane and Hollowback seems possible too, but I’m probably throwing them in there because, outside of Hollowback crashing at the beginning, I recall both were never fully destroyed or lost until towards the end.
Chicane definitely did not have the most screentime, I would throw in Rivited, Chicane, Battle Spec, and maybe Hollowback. Rollin Thunder might be up there due to the many Monkey scenes in Ignition
Over the course of the whole series, I’d guess either Bassline or Riveted are shown the most, with Battle Spec and Spine buster close behind them. Most other racers swapped out cars at least once, and the other racers who never swapped their cars out like Tork or Karma didn’t get an awful lot of screen time tbh. And if we’re counting drone cars, RD-02 and RD-06 are shown a lot, and if RD-L1 hadn’t switched from RD-08 to RD-05 and just stuck with one of them through the whole series, they definitely would’ve been a top contender for most screen time over all. Sweepers also got a ton of screen time if we want to count those as “cars” too lmao
2:43 you just gotta love those little details: Due to kurts windshield smashed, the wind is still blowing through his hair
Kurt's hair moves in the swamp realm because of his open roof too!
After that the windshield immediately repairs itself
Funnily enough, Kurt wears goggles all the time (for some reason) so his eyes would be fine with the missing windscreen and Battle Spec with no windscreen
0:21 “give me a car!! I wanna finish this tonight!!” *Leaves instantly*
Lol yeah.
The fact that Slingshot only lived for 3 minutes in Acceleracers
It was way longer Yknow just the scenes of slingshot on acceleracer were there
they really did dirty of my favorite car😢
The battle Spec was better ngl
3:25 Kurt upon finding out that there will not be an "AcceleRacers 5"

It took a realm closing to actually put any damage on Deora II

But yeah, Storm Realm is just really brutal. It then took them the Swamp Realm to realize their regular tanks of Nitrox 2 formula wasn't fast enough.
Nolo: Gimme a Car! I wanna finish this thing tonight!

It's really weird they list Slingshot for Kurt at the end when he's been using Battle Spec for a while at that point
I think that's more because they threw all of the World Race cars at the end of the Teku and Metal Maniacs lists.
Love this car
I just noticed that slingshot's headlights changed position.
HW35- headlights are in the fenders
Acceleracers- it's in the hood not in the fenders
Also went from single lights to duals

Possibly the modifications, new tints, paint, wheels, and electrical mods mightve made the cars weaker, especially the Deora II

That's literally the whole point of them

3:32 i never noticed that Slingshot lost a wheel during this crash
My fav car in Highway 35 and acceleracers
I love these edits

Thanks dude
The f1 based car 🥲
Mhm, with an F1 driver too
Acceleracers but it's just the Synkro please.
YES YOU DID IT
Yes! Best car!
How do you guys find the 4k rips and upscales, been trying for a few weeks now
Check the Acceleracers subreddit, they should be linked in there somewhere.
:( my car.
Question, where do I find the widescreen 4k version of acceleracers? I'd love to watch it again and actually be able to see lol
The link to the 4k version is floating around on the Acceleracers subreddit, I haven't checked it in a while, but start there I suppose
@@checkitimawesome duly noted and thank you so much
