I would love to see a video of Leah talking about sustainable period products. Or even Levi learning about them 😅
Haha well thanks for the feedback! I would like to address this at some point but in the meantime Leah talks about it on her podcast which is linked in the description!
all I want in life is someone who looks at me the same way Leah looks at Levi 🥺
Have you ever tried fountain pens? I have a few and love them plus they are sustainable compared to a disposable pen
Ive wanted to try those. Im trying to use pencils more but for some reason i like pens better lol
That’s very interesting! I’ve never thought of that! Is there a brand you’d recommend?
@@LeahandLevi I personally like Lamy, Pilot, and Twsbi but the unfortunate thing is that I have not been able to find a brand that has 3rd party assessment. You could also go the second-hand route which I am trying to do but sometimes its hard to find the condition of the pen.
Love the video! Looking forward for your next one.
We love Smyle tooth tabs. really need a fluoride option, kiddos and weak enamel over here and a rinse is just one more step.
Without sounding weird, my wife will love the natural toothpaste and deodorant (she likes that sort of thing!). Great video as always guys.
Wild is a great idea, but it’s so expensive for the amount you get. I’d be tempted to give it another go with that code though!
I liked this style video! Am curious to see the worst purchases or perhaps things you’re considering buying in the future?
Yeah thanks for the feedback!
Great content as always, though I have to say I had a small heart-attack when I looked up Ecologyst's prices 😬 It's frustrating that a lot of the brands I want to support are waaay out of my financial capabilities.
Yeah that’s unfortunately the real cost of clothing made in a western country. Cheap clothes means cheap labour. It’s all good though, support however you can within your means!
Will start saving to buy more sustainable clothing and be more cautious of my purchasing trends
Looking forward to trying out some new hygiene products in my next round of sustainable tries. That Wild deodorant sounds wild 😜 and sustainable
Deodorants: Routine is company in Canada that make depdorants in the jars, wonderful smells and quality 😉

Thanks for the recco on Ecologyst! Have been addicted to their stuff lately :)
It's okay, Levi. I also nerd out about urban planning things. No shame. :D My work face masks say "What would Jane Jacobs do?"
Forgive me if you already have a video for this and I’ve missed it, but I’d love to learn more about the brand United by Blue and if they’re as eco-friendly as they seem! Thanks for all the quality content!
Just got the book! Excited to dive deep!
Oh man you're going to love it!
Captain planet, he's our hero!!
Would love if David’s made a fluoride version
Great video with helpful and interesting info. Yes, I would like to see a “Worst Purchases Video” and perhaps eventually a “Canadian Made Purchases” video (cuz I’m a fellow Canuck). Thanks for this one, it was very cool (just like you two are 😃💜)
Love 99% Invisible, can't wait to check out the book (currently number 51 in line to check it out at the library 😂)!
cant wait for the "worst purchases" video! great job you guys!

Love Leah’s jokes 😄😄
Levi, may I ask? What is the name of the background music you play near the end of every video? I love it! Love your videos too, keep up the good work. 😊😊😊
Now I'm interested in the David's toothpaste. I have been using MOON and I have at least seen results. I just concern if the company is sustainable or what's your opinion on it. Plus I like the twist knob for David's to get all the paste out. Sometimes I feel like I have a bit more left on the Moon toothpaste. I think I'll give David's a try in the future. Thank you.
the toothpaste problem is reallll, excited to try David's!
David's toothpaste is one of my favorites! It's often sold out here so that's a good sign. It would be amazing to see a "worst purchases" video.
Noted Armando. 😜
I love the tube key that comes with David's Toothpaste and I've been using it with loads of things! Just wanted to pop in and say thank you for not talking exclusively about cis women when it comes to periods - big thumbs up from this enby fan :)
Edit: massive yes to 99% Invisible and the book! I'm also reading it slowly lol
Great video guys, I've been looking for an eco friendly solution to deo so this was super helpful. I've also been using a Leaf Shave for over a year now per your recommendation and LOVE it!
Nice! That's great to hear!
Give Wild a try, I'm glad to see Levi and Leah have found them... it does actually work if you want a second opinion
funny i just bought my first pair of all birds underwear too. So far so good!
About David's Tooth Paste, have you guys tried HeyHuman's toothpaste? I feel like it's better if I was not sure the material of the container. The aluminum feels like it's processed weird.
Just in relation to toothpaste, would you consider just making your own? There are loads of great recipes for homemade tooth powders that work :))
love it! the worst purchases its on the list
Wow! I need to try that deodorant! Had the same frustrating experience looking for the perfect one for years!
Any recommendations on a water filter ( for renters )?
I made it my goal to comment on every video you put out, to help where I can, so there's a comment lol
Also, it's nice to see a recap of good purchases!!
If you're an urban planning nerd, also check out Degrowth in the Suburbs and Happy City :)
Can we get a top 10 list of both of your guys favorite podcasts????
Leah loves the Dan savage podcast and I love How to save a planet, Science Vs, city of the future, the future of everything, 99% invisible
Yes! Give us the worst of the worst!
