14 August, 2014 में आयी एक भयंकर त्रासदी में हिमाचल प्रदेश के जाहु क्षेत्र में स्थित एक पुल पानी के अत्यधिक बहाव में बह गया था पुल को पार करते समय एक पिता-पुत्र और एक नागरिक पानी में बह गए थे | पिता और पुत्र एक शादी समारोह से घर वापिस जा रहे थे | एक आवश्यक कार्य को जल्दी निपटाने हेतु उन्होंने पुल को जल्दी से पार करने की सोची परन्तु शायद भाग्य को कुछ और ही मंजूर था |
यह गाना उन सभी को एक श्रद्धाजंलि है |

AAEE BARSAAT MAHEENA SOUN PAI GIYA JAHU WALA PUL VE AMMA PAANI WICH BEH GIYA WAARA PAARA TE HALLA PAEE O GIYA UTARA TE REHNE AMMA DHOKHA KHAAEE LIYA a few years ago the jahu iron bridge connecting hamirpur district to mandi district on the seer khud in himachal collapsed due to heavy rains during the rainy season causing irreparable loss of life the scene shown in video still fresh in my mind the seer khud is considered notorious for death and destruction due to floods especially during rainy season almost every year the song JAHU PUL reflects the real picture of the tragedy struck there the composition of the lyrics and the music so moving and heart touching the voice of the talented and promising pahaadi singer shri jagdish sanwal ji so sweet to listen to the father and son of a marriage party and a pravaasi labour perhaps from U P or Bihar also washed away along the bridge now a new bridge a few metres below has been constructed by the government and is functional lot of thanks shri jagdish sanwal ji for singing this sad song making the memory of the tragedy fresh in the minds of the listeners again lot of thanks lot of respect
