I have sewn since I was 7 and I am very familiar with the stitch that you are using in this video. I also make jewelry and the entire time that I was watching this, all that I could think of was that I need to get to Joann's and get some sewing floss!! I have real pearls in EVERY color, shape and size that you can think of, so I am going to purchase several different colors of floss to make these buttons with REAL pearls!!! I cannot wait! Too bad that they closed about an hour and a half ago, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to do this. Doh!!! 😳

Where have you been Merry. I just found you, and oh the memories you brought to me. When I was growing up we couldn’t afford to buy gifts,(we meaning me and my mom) so we made everything for her four siblings and their ten children. My cousins loved our gifts that we sat up all night Christmas Eve to complete. I think you may even have a few of those presents in your repertoire. Now I know what I’ll be making as gifts next Christmas, if you will permit. I will credit you of course! My cousins will be so thrilled. Your work is so beautiful and creative! Count me as a new follower. My fingers may be getting a little stiff, but I’m not going to let it stop me. The world could use more crafting and less hatred.
