    Thanks for sharing this educational and impactful information about the Florida panther, the importance of the Wildlife Corridor, and the suggestions for solutions. With the support of the Conservancy, it sounds like this issue will continue to stay at the forefront of importance for protecting and preserving our valuable wildlife of panthers and bears so they don't become extinct. The understanding of the fact the corridors are not just for the wildlife, they are for recreation, watershed protection, green infrastructure and a connection to wild Florida.     other bridges/underpasses have been shown to be success stories. Could it be possible to swap protected areas for critical corridor habitat if that doesn't endanger existing protected wetlands? Hope to see these species granted enough protection to be viable alongside progress.

    Is the Florida panther a separate species from cougar/mountain lion from other parts of North America?
