Not to be a Dick but the Elroy jetson voice kills the entire vibe completely. Drummer and bass man need to tell the rest to scat and just do some mad bukem covers imo

The original track probably is a bass synth or a sample with some kind of distortion on it, this is a hand played bass goint to an amp and then to a mic to a mixer and then to the computer, has to sound different
