I have a Prestige 2017 A4 APR stage1 tuned that I love to drive is so powerful, looks so pretty in Daytona Grey Pearl effect,, feeling sad to put in sell cause I did order a S5 Sportback coming in June. No doubt Audis are so good cars

Got a 19' a5. Cool car. The only ting is I wish i got the s5. It is a really good looking car. I thought i wouldn't ever say this but i think I prefer the knob vs the touch screen. I can operate all functions of the stereo without having to reach forward and put finger prints on the screen. I wish my car had adaptive cruise.
The best thing for any car you love is a California duster ! Saves on washes and scratches !

The only downgrade I have with the new A5 and A4 is that they removed the Controller which I love in BMW but was also great in Audi.
Touching being the only and permanent option aside voice to navigate is really a downgrade and distracting, you also have to lean forward or stretch your Arm and keep an eye on what you are selecting.
Another downgrade is as you mentioned the poorly integrated huge display, lovely how BMW integrates their displays with the design of the dashboard with that triangular shape.
That Audi really is too in your face last minute thought.
Agreed, I loath working a touchscreen left handed...Just bought a 2019 A5 Sportback in white with black accent package..The rotary controller is a wonderful way to navigate, and they did a great job executing it...It's cost cutting IMO, these touchscreens, I hate them TBH...🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🇬🇧🇬🇧
I didnt realise that the satnav is an optional extra for the virtual cockpit!
I have it on my 2018 sportback and just assumed it was standard.
Its a bit pointless having the cockpit without the satnav imo.
My sportback is in solid black and is agree that it easily swirls and scratches despite being careful washing it. Just using a microfibre towel to wipe causes marring!

Might just be soft clear coat tbh easy to polish quickly but gets swirls fast again if not washed carefully.
i had mine for 2mths...so far so good...recently theres a buzzing sound everytime i changed the gear shift...is that 'normal'? btw well presented...very informative...
Very cool! As far as the gear shift buzz, I have not experienced that with my A5. Maybe have it checked out if it persists. Thanks for watching!
I own an '18 Sportback and never have heard a buzz. Get it in while under warranty!

If you have swirls in the paint you are not cleaning the car correctly

Its a gorgeous car. My A5 2021 Coupe has the same wood grain interior. I also have a black 2010 Q5 and ceramic coated it this year and it looks so shiny and new and its super easy to clear. So I definitely recommend that. The coater should also treat your paint so all small marks and swirls should go away too. Drive safely 👌🏼

have a coupe in daytona grey ..i like the dual-clutch transmisson.. you should totally get an intake for it..wakes up the turbo sound

How come the rigs in the front are silver and not black? You said black edition, which has black rings typically...
The first year of this generation, black optic package unfortunately did not get you the black badges here in the USA. I believe in 2021 they became standard with the black optic package!

I have the 21 premium plus with S line trim in metallic gray and black leather interior. Kept in a Garage of course
Does the seat move back when entering and exiting the car?
There is typically a setting where you can turn that on/off on most new Audi’s!
Moving to Germany in July and considering an A5. A lot of great options there for vehicles.

Great question, no they did not! I had to tint all the windows right after purchasing the car.

@@rsinsider6793 The way you criticized the vehicle made me think this was a afterthought. I would imagine you knew the specs of your vehicle. I don’t believe you will keep this very long. I own the same vehicle as well, but it’s a Prestige model.
