I tried him out and there are ways to make his ult last forever.
You just need to keep displacing the enemies between abilities
Since it doesn't go on cooldown and its only condition is to displace the enemy

Being a global phoveus player I hate this revamp because it feels like it's some new hero not our phoveus.

Exactly he doesn't need a revamp just update his looks. The players who play him really like him and he isn't exactly weak or too powerful currently.

Yup played this new revamp hero and got bronze every match. Before he could easily counter blink heroes
If they bring back his old ult conditions, he will be too op & they will have to make tons of adjustments, his usage will soon fall like the old one. The new mechanics fit his playstyle. Only thing i would add in his 2nd skill is to gain shield based on the amount of heroes he drags as he charges in, to enxhange his survivability.

He should be able to ULT when enemy blink by their own skill, but add a CD. And no CD when enemy is displaced by Phoveus skill.

I am confused, in video he builds magic items, but does physical dmg on ult and 1s. Seems bad for building penetration.

Passive: When nearby enemies are displaced/dash in any form, phoveus gains 20% movement speed up to 3 stack last for 2.5 seconds and marking them for his Ultimate. Phoveus Dashes knocking back and dealing Magical Damage and gaining Shield. (Just LIke lapu lapu passive but with knockback and different condition to trigger)
1st Skill: Deals Physical Damage in 1st Phase in an Area then 2nd Phase Deals Magical Damage that displaced enemies. No cooldown between Attacks, just like chou's first skill, available as the animation finished.
2nd Skill: Same in Advance Server
Ultimate: Just like the old one but instead of Shield restores HP.
This is good for me for better sustaining.

@@Goruden_4407 They butchered her like they will Phoveus. 5:20 - (dash/blink or ms) prime example why phoveus sucks -> delayed dmg on ult. I used benedetta and just dashed away form all ults. Imo all they had to do is faster dmg trigger and short delay before next ult usage + revamp 2nd skill and he would be good, but no lets just bucher him and make weird emo that is countered by dashes.

Enhanced normal from passive, 1st, Ult, 2nd, Ult, Enhanced 1st, Ult

I think his ulti needs cool down too and lower his ulti cool down by using his fist or second skill but for his ulti cool down we can have his ulti hit the targeted enemy even while dashing like his old ulti phovius isn't phovius without his dash counter ulti

As a phoveus user, this is flop. Too many skill tap just to spam his ulti. I don't need unli ulti, the duration of his old ult is enough for team fights. And you can actuvate it when there is a dash hero within his ult range, and his survivability is a meh. But lets see when it comes out in original server if his effective in the current meta. Just like Arllot that some sat its a meh in the advanced server but now...
Moontoon should give him shield when using 1st skill and ultimate

When I started mlbb earlier this year, the first character I ever bought was Phoveus because I thought he looked like Brian fury, long story short after one match I never played him again, after watching this video I’m now considering learning him
He's the counter to every new heroes who loved to dash, blink and teleport but Moonton decides to make him more unwanted. They noticed that he was now picked and they are ending it.

essentially he's still the same threatening character but i believe his ult should have a Cooldown because it's too convenient i think..
I think this revamp is good enough for him to be played on ranks. Yes, the condition of being able to jump to the enemy whenever they use dash skills is really good, but having phoveus on a team should always have a condition (that the enemy should have dash skills), which is why, he is only a "situational hero".
But now with this revamp, you can pick him even if there are no "dash heroes".
How many times that you are waiting for the enemy to dash so that you can jump to them? And ending up being killed.
That is why this is good enough for him. For now I think.
If Phoveus will be out now, I will definitely play him. Can't wait.
Execpt imagine u dashed once got cc locked and got instantly burst down it would be kinda worthless give u cant use ur skills when stunned he is ok not great but ok in 1v1 not in team fights which kinda makes him bland
i think in hindsight is pretty good, but i kind of miss where he would be a counter to the dash heroes. And the sudden change to physical damage is pretty unappealing, because the magic damage is what makes him unique and gives him coverage against WON. Maybe if allies displacement ability also effects his ULT maybe it'd be better? And faster animation speed on the ULT of course.
Bad thing about the ult is it doesn't activate by enemy dashing around, but by pushing or causing cc to enemy. Good thing about the ult is that it's has no cooldown which mean it can be spam the whole time.
Anti blink hero is always franco+ flicker
As a main phoveus. I feel disappointed with his new ult. they should have kept the the original ult. and can reavamp only his 1st n 2nd skill. His current ult is super fine even with the cool down. It’s fun chasing those assassins with high speed dash. But Now he’s no longer counter ass every assassin.

I dont think he needed a whole revamp. This versions seems like it needs to be a tank/fighter and not just a fighter.
It's definitely a big change. I don't think he will be the best dash heros counter anymore, and the removal of his shiel is kinda big
Tbh what would make his Ultimate is actually good with the enemy has to be displaced to trigger, make it a global one like if teammates displaced an enemy Phoveus ult will trigger too, that way it will feel like the old Phoveus Ult that feels like it can be spamable, especially if your whole team can do displacement type CC.

His first skill mixed with the second is ok. Just make it have a certain range as he is holding a long range chain lol.
Second skill should be a buff like a cloak of magic around him that knock target back, and deal damage per second for enemies nearby, so he can use his ultimate..

I always used him as alpha counter . Now that's impossible due to alpha ulti.
They removed his unique aspect which is when enemy dashes he can ult 😢 welp...
He should get adaptive defense and extra movement speed everytime an enemy blinks, he relies too much on his own skills and his chase ability has been reduced significantly, he can also get beat up by blink heroes.

This a testing phase, we don't know what damage will he use, and after seeing the video I think it's magic damage.

To be honest the last phovoes's passive isn't that good, not only that it is easy to out run his ult (for example:lancelot, hayabusa, ling etc)
And not only that but if there is a hero who does countering the blink skills, Minsi is already way to good at it.
But with the new phovoe he may not have the same passive but he is now doing better collectively, not only does he not rely on the enemies lineup, but now he can independently be on the battle field without needing the enemies to dash, meaning he could allow his ult to active more

Hope they will keep on tweaking cause this is kinda weird (even though I'm not a phoveus main). Kinda of a big change for him,as he now will be like a 2nd Bane with the dmg switch

I used to play phoveus a lot. And I think this revamp is quite good. I didn't say it's perfect. But at least he's not gonna be situational pick anymore

In my humble opinion I don't think he needed a revamp. Just a buff. That's all. They revamped him, a newer hero, while older heroes who really need it they leave alone. Lol.
They didn't revamp him they made a totally different hero but used the old name. As a Phoveus main i think he is ruined now. He didn't need a revamp he just needed some skins

My opinion is give his ult CD but keep it as the old one .
He will be a strong 1v1 hero. But I'm not toovsure about his teamfight potential. He has a condition for his ult like arlott, Arlott can rely on his teammate to apply CC and then follow and maximize his damage but Phoveus need to be in the teamfight and actively apply his own CC to ult, he can't rely on his team.
