Went to ISBP for the first time about 3 weeks ago....It's awesome! (caught a 24 & 26''). What entrance did you guy start at?? (or is this a secret?) I probably wont be back until next summer.
It’s not a secret. Big one I caught off of lot 2, me and by brother were fishing off lot 12, recently I’ve been exploring lot 15. There’s cuts and holes and rips all over the place.....so I don’t have one particular spot there. I bounce around.
Nice catches! Do you basically drag that Ava jig/sand eel combo along the bottom?
I’ve got to be honest, I’m still getting a feel for those diamond jigs. Here it’s a steady retrieve with a pop-pop-pause (and let it fall), then do it again. I heard you can scream those things in, I’ve heard you can drag them slowly along.....so I think it’s just a matter of trying different retrieves and seeing what works. One day will be different from the next.

We killed it in IBSP yesterday, fish after fish ! Tight lines
Just got back home today, got the skunk. Only saw one fish caught, was there sun up to sun down. Hear it was on fire the day before. Isn’t that weird? One day there here and the next day they’re gone, then they come back, then they disappear for a bit.
