I have a 1981 SR250 Exciter (the one that came with a trunk and split seat). Any experience with those? The frame looks similar, but not identical. I assume your seats wont fit?
Hi Jordan. You might be one of the very few who like it! Unfortunately we have thrown all of ours away but there are many people who modify these bikes who may still have their original seat. We suggest you get on the SR250 facebook group and ask around there :)
Hola! tengo una yamaha sr 250 special del año 1999. Quiero instalar el asiento de este video pero no tengo soldadora tampoco radial ni amoladora...Es posible hacer la instalación de manera totalmente manual en mi moto? (solo sierra y lima). Thanks PD: ¿Cuándo habrá stock?
P. Hi man, cool you’re interested in our seat! You can install it without a grinder, but it’ll take a loooong time! You would use a hacksaw and files and have a lot of patience ;)
Muy buen trabajo amigo. Te felicito y quedo padre tu moto. Una pregunta. Sabes... O alguien me puede informar si a esta moto se le pueden cambiar los rines de rayos. Y ponerle rines de 6-8-10 aspas..? Gracias.?
Yeah you can change the wheels. We have spoke kits for that. If you mean Mag wheels, I am not sure. Some people have done it - from an RD400 for example. But there is not much information online for this.
@@JadusMotorcycleParts :( Right thank you i was really looking to buy the thing, unfortunately eithout interchangeable parts, the bike is near non existent in where i live so i guess i'll have to find an alternative
Hi! All of our parts can be purchased from Modeliko Cafe Racers and you can check with them which countries they ship to. Thanks! modelikocaferacers.com/gb/281-jadus-motorcycles
Hi Marcos, yes, the seat does fit that model. It has a slightly different installation process though. You can see here: ua-cam.com/video/ZPkkYlEYo2Q/v-deo.html and here: ua-cam.com/video/txtmaFMPks0/v-deo.html Cheers!
Hi Miguel, no unfortunately it doesn't. But the seat is still bolt on - it can be supplied with an adapter bracket. See here: ua-cam.com/video/ZPkkYlEYo2Q/v-deo.html
@@JadusMotorcycleParts but my bike is not the one that appears on the link that you send me,my its the one with the seat like the in this video (big bulky seat)
Hey Jadus Motorcycle Parts, nicely done! I`ve got a question. If i buy your seat base and the frame loop as well, do they end at the same length? Or is one of both things overlapping the other? Couldn't find a picture of that...thanks for your help :)
Hi Lukas! The result would be exactly the same as if you bought the pre covered seat - the edge of the seat base ends up at the centre line of the frame loop. Check out here: www.jadusmotorcycleparts.com/jadus-bikes 6th picture down :)
We are not 100% sure but according to one sketch we received from a customer, it would not be a straight bolt on procedure. As with most parts, they can be made to fit with a little encouragement ;) We could work something out if you are willing to try?
Superb.
I had a brand new SR250 in October 1980...cost me £760!!! (Couldn't afford the XS250). Great to see people still using these brilliant bikes.
I just wish you have this for sr400 to love the way it looks !..
Thanks! There seems to be quite a few different options available for the SR400 though. Have you checked out Nitroheads?

I got my sr250 with just the front seat. I actually like the king/queen stock one shown in the video. Any idea where I can get it?

I found a 1998 sr250 classic for 1000 euro, it has brake disk up front, would it be a good bike for a begginer?
Yes ☺

Hi, I'm getting a SR250 soon and i was wonderig whether the seat from a SR400 would fit with little to no work?
Hi, unfortunately not. They are very different motorcycles.
