- This is from I Am... World Tour dvd. Beyoncé performed Halo as a special tribute to Michael Jackson at O2 Arena, who was set to take that stage the same day. I also included a segment after the Halo performance where she does prayer for Michael and family backstage at Staple Center cause that was the last stage Michael was on before his tragic death.
Please Note: I don't own this footage and there are two performances of Halo on the I am... dvd and the Michael one is second.

You see certain performances of hers, and the way she moves, the facial expressions she makes, the various techniques she uses,the way she interacts with the audience kinda reminds me of Michael. I’m 15 and I was 4 when he passed away but I still remember the exact moment I found out. At only 4 I loved Michael and now 15 I love him even more. Im sad I didn’t get to experience Michael in his best years. But I’m glad I can look back on his life.

it's not that michael never did that to me, but i can strongly feel in this prformance, she's just the beyonce who dreamed to meet michael when she was a little girl, and we can empathize with that young girl because she's just like us. And in this performance i feel like it's mixture of a desperate thank you, goodbye , and please just don't leave feelings. I remember that day he died, i swear; not only in the internet but in real time, you can feel that certain shift in the air that you can't explain why, but it's there, and you just know that something's changed,. It's what the old people said., it's an end of an era.

I was 8 when he passed I couldn't really understand what was going on. I just remember both my parents, huge fans of Michael, were sitting in front of the TV and that was prolly the only time I saw my father in tears. It was so sad and heartbreaking. the tears I'm trying to hold in. Michael I'd one of my role models and always will be. even though I didn't know him when he passed, I miss him. I remember the 25th like it was yesterday. I wanted to spend the week with my brother at his new apartment. he only had very few channels and they all had Michael's face and name. I still remember asking my brother who he was. we both didn't know and that whole week we went to the library, listened to his music watched his performances and music videos. Michael brought me and my brother together. I'm very grateful for that. sometimes I watch this is it and remember watching it with my brother and we would try to copy his moves. listening and getting to know Michael through his music with my brother will always be a very treasured memory to me. it's nearly been 2 years since my brother passed and treasure every CD and DVD I have of Michael. I miss you Michael and I miss you bubba I love you!
