and hey, the photo was taken in the city where i live. it's the Speicherstadt of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. the buildings of the Speicherstadt form the world's largest historical warehouse area. in the past, goods like coffee, tea and spices were stored in these warehouses. today you can find here besides a lot of carpet dealers, different museums and other tourist attractions also the world' s largest model railway, the Miniatur Wunderland. for those who come to Hamburg one day a visit is a must.
and by chance, the background sounds of your remix 3:09 also remind me of a very special other track named "Largo (für einen Ozeanriesen und 17 Tonnen Sprengstoff)" made by Westbam, which i randomly just heard again a few weeks ago. this track was written for a ship christening in the harbour of Hamburg. the christening was a mega-event where the whole city of Hamburg had celebrated, with a huge light and fireworks show. i think it was in the year 2007. anyway, the celebration for the ship, the Aida Diva, started pretty much at the place near the Speicherstadt, where this picture was taken. so this remix together with this picture gives me a very special feeling. ...funny thing !
